Each class is good at a few skills to start out, and as they change their class (archer to bowman for example) they'll gain new talents, and a new job they'll be good at

So use them for whatever they're good at for the beginning.. warrior - mining, archer - catching/trapping, mage - chopping.. etc

Eventually when you make more characters, and level them up they can then do more than the regular skills they start with. There is a 3d printer mechanic later that will assist even more with that.

Hard to explain without someone yelling guide at us lol. There is a talent guide you can follow if you want.

However for starting out I'd simply put points in Sharpened Axe, Gilded Sword, Fist of Rage. When I started most of the talent builds I seen for lower levels all recommended this. Fist of Rage is str, so for the other classes change that for their stat talent

Put 25 in Axe/Sword, 50 in Fist of Rage for 100 points. After that invest some points in Critikill and/or Meat Shank.

The health/mana/defense/luk/star talents are good talents but at your level I'd avoid those for now. Maybe health depending if you're taking damage.

The other skills not mentioned are for skilling and afk. These are specifically for when you're offline, or skilling - so don't put points in these until you have more, and your 2nd talent spec

the ONLY map i would recommend using double setup in is W5

since the layout is so bad you only do dps with 1 poison

so storm is needed in this situation
