getting an extra master will give you twice the afk currency but you might need to respec later or get half as much afk currency for harder masters

Probably, just be sure to constantly be making recipes, put your best pets in spice collection for spices needed to upgrade that first kitchen. You can def bring the luck and speed much higher within the next couple of days
