I had Symantec over last week, they were pitching us some new features they added from Carbon Black EDR, and one of the cool things they showed us was this feature that I can't recall the name of, but basically once a hckr gains access to a machine with Symantec on it, it can start replicating infinite (fake) amounts of machines in your environment and basically make it impossible for the hckr to navigate or gain any footing for your topology

And then they added another feature that if the hckr tries to then access one of those fake machines, it can act as a trigger to just kill off the connection completely, making it an infinite honepot situation

And I don't need to configure any of those! though obviously it only works when they already have access to a machine, not for PTs
