Suppose someone brought it up again earlier. Since i saw someone talk about it. But that was the stab. But the question is. Do they really not have the time to do these things? If the workplace has a break room, they could take advantage of some of its resouces with some stuff from the store. Heck if they have a coffee maker, right there is a college way of making soup. There should some sort of break or lunch they get too to have such time. Heck gas stations that might be nearby could offer some sauces to make a tuna sandwich, and there's hard boiled eggs premade.
There's gotta be something.

I don't think many work places would take kindly to you using there coffee maker to make soup, also a lot of these work places are fast food restaurants, they don't really have a traditional break room, instead you are usually expected to buy your lunch there, and be on call during your lunch, and there are a few things, but ingredients spoil, and eating the same thing over and over again is taking, so you need a set of ingredients that are cheap, last a long time, and can be used in many different dishes

Meh, trying to value risk over reward with idea of sueing, but you'd need to find a niche lawyer for something like this. And that in its own right is probably unlikely. Considering the case might span over more time than wanted. O.e they can try hr and bring it up anonymously. But that can just flop if the company is garbage. In the positive chance it does good. The manager can get reprimanded and hopefully encourage them to not bother people's breaks.

On another note. They should still be able to continue their lunch after the OnCall part is finished. And finish out the rest of their lunch. If they pull out the bullshit that their lunch is already over. That's.. meh.. hard pressed. gives evidence but that's for the legal route which is in itself a risk.
