Been playing the new tales game this last week, it’s pretty good. Really melodramatic like a virtual soap opera show but still good all in all. Better than the last two tales games for sure.

Only tales game I played was tales of symphonia, never had a interest to play the rest. Similar to final fantasy series, only played a handful of them and just not interested in the rest

Vesperia is awesome, I haven’t played symphonia. Ff died off after ff10 in my opinion. The remake of ff7 is awesome but only if you like RPG type stuff, it’s pure nostalgia for me. The new ff16 looks a lot like 15 though which is bad. I think they are getting too old and out of date. What made the original series good was that it was a last ditch effort, they are too complacent and old these days.

I've heard good things of vesperia. Symphonia is probably one of the first RPGs that really got me into rpg games, played it again on steam and still enjoyed it which is rare since I feel like a lot of games played for nostalgia doesn't live up to how you remembered it.

Agreed that after ff10 it didn't feel the same, haven't bothered to follow final fantasy ever since, still waiting for ff7 remake to get ported on PC before I play it, really excited for i. Haven't watched any clips or trailers of it so I'm still unaware of what the changes to gameplay are like

Nah it’s near the start, it’s a new addition but this door just has really bad textures and has never been patched. Rest of the game is immaculate which is what makes it stand out so much but it isn’t a huge part of the game. It’s one of few things that could be complained about really.

Most jobs that make at least a decent wage will require you to have a degree

A highschool degree can get you okay jobs but college can take you much further

The whole "birthright" nonsence should make that obvious, but just wanted to make sure you saw that. Other nonsence they said it's important to point out: no, you can't really work your way up from minimum wage, if you work really hard, or are really smart, that will make a lot of money for your boss, but they have no real incentive to give any of that to you, especially if you are gritting your teeth, and not complaining. Even if you do the work of 2 people, your boss can get that same value by just hiring 2 minimum wage workers instead. Another myth they esposses was the starting your own business thing. Thing is, you need capital for that, maybe you have that capital, but if you do, I'm betting it'll be a monumental risk, and that risk is ridiculously unlikely to pay out. Now I'm sure this person would answer this by saying you'll succeed if you are meant to, they already have with the 'birthright' junk. So if you want to make it, not only do you have to accept that some people are better, and more deserving then others, whatever those mean, but you have to accept that you are one of those chosen people.

It's not the worst way to do it, although the information has been heavily deleted to hyper focus on making money, so if you can afford it, go for it, if you want to make money, and can afford it maybe, but maybe not, degrees don't go nearly as far as they used to, if you need to take out a student loan, they financially, probably not worth it, those things are draconian, and there is no way to get out from under them, even if you get a job in your field, you'll be under it for a ridiculous amount of time, of you want a degree beacause you want a job, and that's a job you feel is worth doing, then yes, but keep in mind, it's most likely going to take a massive toll on you.
