I'm perfectly fine with vanilla tbh. I did modded many years ago and it was mostly fine. I like new blocks and ores and Mojang seem to be adding a fair amount.

Tin, Copper were stupidly abundant.

But Tinker's had the smelter structure that took all of it and made it into a single mod's metal.

ars magic in particular is my favorite magic mod. you get a spell book and have to craft the spells but once you do the game becomes one of 2 things. build for magic or build for tinkers. it was fun seeing who could get more powerful using tech vs magic

honestly im not sure which was stronger. since with the ars builds you could use enchantments but tinkers couldn't

i haven't touched vanilla minecraft since 1.12

The one thing I wish they'd add is the Crusher block. Just as a way to make getting gravel and sand renewable without duping or relying on trades.

No. In vanillia the Mace is a melee weapon that deals more damage the higher you fall from. That's about it. If you land a hit, you bounce off the target some.

Gravel is easy to get with Piglin Bartering, but Sand comes from Wandering traders and it's a toss up if they'll have it.

So having a Crusher block that functions like a furnace just with redstone or something, would be kind of good.

Put redstone in, redstone "burns" and is consumed, you get 1:1 outputs

Would give a good use to redstone for those who are inept or just don't care for redstone.
