You're reiterating my point without realizing it. The character in Terraria survives those 1hko bosses by AVOIDING the damage. Which would be the same as with the Idleon character.

The difference is, they DON'T have the damage to kill the Idleon character. I've looked up the damage numbers in Terraria, and even the STRONGEST weapons are on par with W1 mobs in Idleon. And because of how defense works in Idleon, if the character's defense is high enough, it negates damage.

The fight is 1 sided in the extreme. The Terraria character is basically a W1 mob with an accuracy requirement of millions. The point is, they can avoid the attacks all they want, but if the Idleon character manages to actually hit, it WILL KILL the Terraria character, because the sheer damage number done and the fact that damage cannot be reduced by 100%. That's my point, and the point I've made (and you've inadvertently agreed to) the whole time.

This is still the immortal lethal snail problem. The Idleon character is slow, by comparison, and may have issues hitting. But if it hits, Terraria WILL die.

That's modified damage, not base damage... You know, the actual damage that matters for Idleon defense. The base damage for Terraria is in the hundreds. Equivalent to W1 mobs.

Also, mods are effectively cheating. Because if we're talking mods here, I'd bet I can find some for Idleon that make him significantly faster, even stronger, and legitimately invulnerable.

@junior forge, did some math. Using the trees as size references, and marble and platinum as the weight references, the Idleon character can carry at least 464.2 QUADRILLION pounds with no movement reduction.

Using an archer, they can shoot homing arrows, are the fastest idleon class, and I assume they have more battle experience, considering they've killed billions upon billions of monsters. Using volcanos would also mean the idleon character is insanely huge, maybe bigger than moonlord. The archers homing arrows are also incredibly fast, so the terrarian is basically fighting a moonlord size dungeon guardians that fires homing arrows as big as a mountain at the speed of empress of light attacks.

If the skills and such are off the table, then all equipment in Terraria are, too, as that's where the Terraria character gets their power. You're just crossing into pure asinine territory now.

Correction, all the ones I've seen have attack stats lower than Quenchies. Meaning they'd be the absolute max equivalent of early W3 mobs. Idleon defense stats would completely negate Terraria damage, regardless of modifications after.

Heck, I can't even find any, except the EXTREMELY slow Holy Hand Grenade, that even break 250... Meaning W2 mobs would do more damage in most cases.

The only way to null this and make them have "equal grounds" is to eliminate both rules entirely and just look at the feats that can be achieved. And at that point, we're not comparing characters. We're comparing avatars that LOOK like the characters, but with nothing behind them.

The terrarian is able to kill moonlord, though they get nowhere near one-shotting him. The idleon player can one-shot sacrilegious kattlekruk (who is a god at their most powerful) multiple times over, so it really depends on how strong kattlekruk is.
