Popeye's got rid of their nuggets, and replaced them with boneless wings. I was wondering when that would happen because everyone I talked to said they wish there wasn't a bone in those wings. Pre-sauced, things get quite messy if you have to eat around a bone. The breading/batter on them is a little different, but still ok, and still much better than the coating on the tenders. Also, because the nuggets and boneless wings are short but thick, they end up being juicier than the tenders. As for their sauce offerings... Honey BBQ is ok (I personally prefer Blues Hog's Raspberry Chipotle or Blues Hog's Smokey Mountain... though the current Wendy's BBQ sauce still comes in a close third)... Sweet & Spicy... an ok sweet chili sauce... Garlic Parmesan... meh... i probably need to be in a different mood for that one to work... in which case I'd probably be eating a Marco's pizza instead... they have a few other sauces but they're not my cup of tea... Oh and... you can get the boneless OR bone-in wings with the sauce on the side if you want... anyways... i'd recommend giving them a shot.... a 6-pc boneless right now is free w/ a $10 purchase (not sure if that's available walk-in or if it is app-only, so you might want to call and ask)... i'd recommend getting the sauce on the side just in case the flavor you choose isn't to your liking... and you can always still get one of their regular sauces as well... buttermilk ranch (not the other ranch) is always a good choice at Popeye's
