But I'm new to the game and I went to claim my pet and saw the one pet that gives you the + to all skills and thought nothing of it couldn't find any pet food etc and when I left it never followed me so I hadn't put 2 & 2 together until I thought my account was bugged and made a new character to see if they would have 26 points in a skill after adding a point or not and it did...
At this point I really had no idea what was going on.
Needless to say I went back to the pet area trying to claim a pet and then noticed the pet I had been given but at the time had no idea what was going on or where the bonuses were coming from.
So I ended up finding out he was my pet but as he wasn't following me I got rid of him.. (no food)
So I disposed of him and lost my skill bonuses (which shouldn't be the case as they're supposed to remain active?)
Anyways was wondering if there's some way to undo this or could I suggest making a way to revert this for a future patch?
Losing that pet has greatly impacted my growth as a new player

The Witcher started out amazing and that's when they were faithful to the source material, as it went on for longer, they strayed from that and Henry cavill called them out on it. How was let go because of 'creative differences', and if you hear him in interviews, he knows his stuff. He's a smart guy and I'd trust him with the decisions over a director that doesn't care about it. The numbers for the witcher have significantly dropped off.
