Also I'm gonna say this for the 150,532nd time, but don't expect this game to be as 'dense' as Idle Skilling TO START WITH
My hopes are for you to go "hey this is fun, can't wait to see where this goes in the next 3-6+ months!", instead of "wow there are more things in this than in idle skilling"
I made Idle skilling over ~18 months, this MMO's been ~8 months so far (with 5 of those being just Engine work so the game isnt as messy)
Also little reminder, Idle skilling DIDNT have: Farming, Rebirth, Asylum bosses, Cards, Pets, Tunnels, Mastery, Contracts, Limbo, Fight Zones 6+, or pachi at release...
so that's the kind of quality & quantity you can expect to see coming to this game after release
Ok so the announcement hasnt quite fallen through, but here's the thing
Basically, I got uno-reverse carded by Google on this
in such a way that, even though I said I'd say no matter what, it turns out that if I made the special announcement right now, it would actually spread misinformation and hurt the game's launch
I'll know more tomorrow morning, and out I will not only announce it (of course), but I'll also explain why it would be bad for you guys if I were to say it right now
I will say, that PART of the 'special announcement' is a confirmed, set-in-stone release date

All content planned is done and tested
Cloudsaving between devices and between PC/android is done -- (this will be useful later when the game is on Steam & playable on the web)
So I'm just gonna spend the rest of tonight doing some general balancing, and I'll be working tomorrow to make sure it doesn't have any startup bugs (those ALWAYS jump out last minute lol)

Absolutely! Only thing is, you need to keep your phone up for 5 minutes to trigger the Cloudsave. Keep that in mind when playing from multiple phones!

Quick note for people who hate cheaters
There may be some holes in my anti cheat system at the moment (its fine, since theres' no Guilds or anything that could interfere with you personally)
However there will be a way, pretty soon after release i suspect, to report players -- and I certainly have ways to obliterate their accounts
Point is -- On Launch Day, if you see people with crazy stats or items, don't be too upset, just know they'll get destroyed shortly after
(Also note, simply changing your phone time will NOT work for cheating at all, so if you do see a cheater they're going hardcore to cheat)

I missed my November 8th deadline. While I personally see it as a miracle I actually made it through at all, I understand that it is upsetting that it didn't come out today. I've been playing games since I was 4, so believe me when I say I know how annoying it is. However, please know that I have been working my tail off to get this out, and that I am very grateful for those who have stuck around with me and given me feedback, support, and encouragement. It's a great feeling to know that there are people who went out of their way to offer their help and advice to me during development, especially at its low points, and I hope I can return the favor with a quality game
Idleon FAQ -- For people new to the game
Does this game get more 'idle' as I play?
Absolutely. I will admit, it isn't that idle for the first hour. Once you create your 2nd character, you will permanently have a source of 'idle gains' the rely on. Then once you unlock your 3rd character, thats another source of idle gains. Imagine having 5 characters, all working, all the time, 24 hours a day. That's a lot of idle gains.
No auto-pickup? Why?
Because that would destroy the 'active' way to play the game. There are two ways to play the game: Active, and Idle. You aren't meant to keep the game running actively while you're AFK, you're meant to tab out. When you tab back in, you'll get Idle gains (which makes sense.. you WERE idle). The reason Idle gains are less than Active, is so that there is a reason to be active. If active gains weren't greater than Idle, what's the point?
Alpha trophy? Wtf? I cant get it, that's not fair!
If you don't already know how vital emotional support is, you will one day in the future. This game wouldn't have been made if not for the 100s of people here who told me they believed in me when I didnt, were enthusiastic about my game when I wasn't, and who stuck with me for the last few months. They didn't have to do any of that, and they didn't ask for anything in return. This trophy is for them. YES, some 'randoms' will get the trophy. BUT ONLY FOR THE NEXT 48 HOURS (or 24 hours after PC launch). Then it will be impossible to get. If this angers you... I get it! It would anger me too at first! But this was the right thing to do, even if it isnt a perfect system.
There isn't much 'MMO' about this game... why?
I know, it is very bare bones on the MMO aspect. I am ONE PERSON trying (and I think succeeding so far!) at making a large-scale mmo, and I chose to start with solid gameplay, and to add in the more MMO-ish aspects in future updates. Give me a bit of time to find my stride. I will be making big changes, fixing big bugs, and adding more content for everyone to enjoy, even if you're not a fan of the current gameplay. If you're a fan of movies where the underdog wins, you'll wanna stick and see that happen in real time, trust me. My last game got big criticism, and I used that to make it better instead of pouting. And I'm gonna do it again, oh yea!
I won't be making any Future content posts until the game is out PC, and major android bugs have been fixed. I am 100% dedicated to getting this game running well, and smoothening the experience, before jumping into new content

Fact: I'm way too dumb to actually mastermind some cabal plot against gamers to manipulate the inner subconscious into needing to buy chest slots for gems (but I appreciate anyone who thinks I am lol)
I genuinely just didn't do the right math on like... statues/food/upgrade stones/special equipment across 4-6 characters when trying to balance storage. I considered monster drops, resources, and a few anvil equipment, and not the rest.
If you are suspicious, I understand (that means you probably haven't tried idle skilling lol). Stick around for like... 2-3 days, you'll see I don't play when it comes to the gem shop and only having people spend when theyre happy with the game, not spend because of an issue with the game's balance
PUMPKIN HAT IS GOING AWAY FROM GEM SHOP LATER TODAY (or like tomorrow, when the update goes out)
Also I think I'm gonna spend another day fixing bugs, instead of posting what I've fixed so far tonight

Additional Bug Fixes I've done, wouldn't have happened if I'd rushed out the update:
- Having multiple anvil productions going at once isn't randomly removed when swapping characters
- Everybody's FAVORITE class, the bowman, has his Magic Shortbow talent that misses a lot. Like, every time. It will now hit as normal!
- The Nest DMG bar bonus doesn't show up if you attack the nest with a bow -- which is bad because archers are the catching class lol
- Archers basic attack can't hit through the bosses shield. This bugfix was sponsored by the warrior mage guild
- If you kill the boss right as he is spawning the shield totem, you game won't crash
- House Monster quest will complete when u see it. no need to leave/re-enter
- Added Iron Boots recipe, but I wont say where :]]
- Other people don't always face to the right. They will now face the recourse object they are collecting from!
- House Monster now drops items. no uniques yet tho
- You can now see other players equipment -- not just Hat/Weapon -- WHEN INSPECTING
v1.03 is OUT!! -- PC has 1 or 2 bugs that android doesn't, those will be patched in ez pz tomorrow
Note about the concerns / frustration about balancing
I've already made a game before, as many of you know. Don't pretend like that game never happened -- I have a lot of experience with balancing, taking in player feedback, and creating a fun experience for everyone.
The following are FACTS, verifiable by anyone who played my last game. I dont work for CNN or fox news, so you know I ain't spittin' nonna that fake news here
I do not balance around the top players.
Whenever I see Player Feedback from someone to be a top player I note their progress as 'extremely far into the game', NOT as 'this is probably what the average player is capable of'. So yes, I actually do the opposite of balancing around them!
I dont balance the game around Gem items
Big companies literally have psychological science that they use to churn out money they need to pay the dozens of employees they have
I am one guy. I am not very smart. I dont know how to manipulate people, and I dont need to. I purposefully design gem-shop items AFTER making content, just so I can be sure the balance doesn't rely on gem stuff. When the game launched, it was hard to get storage. This was not the only thing unbalanced, but it was the only one involving Gems, so I immediately added 29 new storage slots for free, and have more planned for world 3.
There won't be major balancing changes every update
There were a few extremely OP things in the game. You know that. It happens when something is brand new, it's hard to get a grip on all 30 jillion things in the game to make sure none of them are super OP. There are HUGE games that do this -- I mean Overwatch has basically removed entire character ||pls jeff giv back roadhog hook-kill 😭 ||, this is just a part of gaming. As we go along, I will get a better and better handle on exactly how to structure bonuses, so that we see less and less changes like you saw before. My last game had big changes like this -- although it is easy to forget that -- and every single content-filled game ever made after this one will have it too.
I'm doing my best, and I actually care about you having a good time
There are no $50, $100, $250 purchase options. There are no Ads -- not even optional -- in the game. Yes, I lose money from not doing those things... lots and lots of money. Because I dont WANT that kind of money. Idle skilling did well from lots of people paying $10 or so every major update, rather than 3 people paying $10,000s, or everyone staring vacantly at yet another shadow-legends ad. That's the kind of payment system I'm running here -- Pay if you're happy with what I'm doing. I am always looking to give you all the experience I got to have as a kid playing the games I loved. If I wanted money, I'd spend my free time learning how to trade stocks, rather than spending my time talking to you all and seeing what I need to do to make the game better. I'm here to make a fun game, and to keep it profitable enough to keep buying ads so MORE people can find it!
v1.04 will probably include these things:
Tasks for world 1, and for part of world 2.
These are 'shopping list' achievements (quick things like 'kill baba yaga' or 'run from X to Y in 60 seconds'). You don't have to 'start' them, the game is always tracking to see if you complete them.
These are Account wide. Complete them on 1 character, and ur good! Not sure how I'll structure the rewards.. I'm considering either a 'unlock things in a linear way as you complete tasks', or a 'earn points, and unlock specific things you want!' system...
This will have bonuses that speed up the start of the game.
I will eventually add hard-core tasks (kill the boss on a new character within 5 minutes), stuff like that, but only once I add in a way to reset characters so you can retry as much as you want.
For IS players, these are similar to Mastery
QoL stuff, from #game-polls📊 !
- Having a way to 'pin' anvil recipes to your codex, or something else, so you dont have to memorize is a big one I wanna do.
- A way to idle in towns to get Anvil / Alchemy stuff! I mean youve probably all maxed your "nothing" level by now anyway... but if you haven't you should try to max it before the next update!

- There aren't many obols in the game rn, and you cant even combine/reroll them! I mean since I'm gonna change the game's name to Legends of Obolon, i should probably get obols fully functional!

Some things you should know for this coming update:
Some recipes will be reset. None of the rare ones, only the very easy ones like Anvil 1 class hats/weapons, and fishing/catching stuff. This is because the method of getting these recipes is now through Tasks.
Not 100% sure if I'll do this, but if you login to find recipes missing on update, dont worry. You can easily get them back by playing for literally 10 minutes
You wont have to complete main quests on EVERY character to get inventory bags. You'll be able to get these SAME bags from Tasks, which is a family system.
If you're dreading having to do all main-quests on ALL characters, don't worry, I got u bro.
There will NOT be any new classes / no more character slots given in this v1.05 update.
You'll have to wait a while longer before I release the 'alternate' Sub-Classes, like Hunter/wizard etc. When I release these, I will also increase the Max Characters from 6 --> 12.
I expect this to come Late December, around about when Steam Release will happen

friendly reminder that during the 11 months now that I've spent making this game
I left adding items to the gem shop to literally the last minute as if it was some homework assignment
and since then haven't even revisited it in my code yet -- so there's literally been maybe 2 days of the 300 so far dedicated to gem stuff and the rest to the game. You know... the way things should be lol
also for those that have been buying gems, thank you SO MUCH for that... your money is going straight into acquiring new users through marketing!
Every $10 you buy in game is put directly into advertising to get about 30-35 new players! (Not all new players are from ads of course, many are organic / word of mouth!)
Gonna get this update out this week for sure, I'm wrapping up on tasks now and I am confident I can squeak in a minor Bestiary, which will track basic stats (including total kills) & loot tables
Note: there was a server-side error causing worlds to be over-populated. This was fixed a few hours ago.
So if you were getting major lag from over-crowded worlds, that won't happen as badly anymore!

QoL / Bug Fixes: 70% done

Im looking to release on the weekend -- this is a bit more accurate than my last prediction for last weekend since like... I didnt know I'd be doing cards. Keep in mind cards was an entire major update for my previous game, and will have almost all the same features in this one (minus star cards. You'll update cards by collecting the same card multiple times)

Thanks everyone for the support and enthusiasm this week! I've been a bit mental this week trying to get things functional, apologies to everyone caught in my whirlwind of sleep-deprivation, but I'm gonna get a nice weekend of rest and only casual development 
So lava, what's next?
I love events, and I love christmas, and I love building up to things only to shatter expectations so there will be no events! However, I love trolling the most so of course, there will be a christmas event!! My plan is to have some small, daily questchain, that gives INSANE holiday foods... think +30% skilling speed, for +10 weapon power. A good mix of "dang i need to get as many as i can", without making players who cant get as many feel bad since theyre just food. However, I do want to put in 1-2 Event-Exclusive equipment, and because I hate participation trophies, there will be probably one item that many people will not get.

Along with that, I also want to fix some bugs, and put in some QoL things, namely the "forge auto-deposit", and the "teleport between world maps".
**For those that care about bugs, I want to reiterate something: **
||I've said this for the last few months, but I have every intention of keeping this game very bug free. While my focus has been, and will still be, on new content for the next maybe 6-8 weeks, that is only because I really want to get Guilds and Classes out, to prove that this game IS intended to be an MMO, and to give everyone something to do with their squires/hunters/wizards. So don't be too concerned if the game isnt bug free for now -- I think you can all appreciate why I need to get these two pieces of content in.||
||BUT know that I wont jump into the next update afterward. With idle skilling, I was a college kid, I had very difficult classes to juggle (I should've done the 'make content and not bugfix' courses, wouldve been a breeze), and I had no coding understanding. None of those things are true anymore, so you can believe me when I say this wont get buggier and buggier||

Absolutely. I plan on adding buggy DLC for $20 a pop, maybe even with a new edition every year that doesn't innovate or change anything, but we'll charge full price for anyw--wait a minute, this isnt my job interview for EA...
Guilds are gonna be very 'surface level'. It'll be about creating / joining / building the biggest group of dedicated players, rather than about playing directly with friends (that'll come with Dungeons/Raids later).
Of course... there are hackers, but I have a plan. ||On the server means a hacker can't hack this part. In game means they can||
Well I have some bad news. Well, for the hackers, because this WONT be possible! Guilds will level up ON the server, based on "player participation points" earned in game. However, each player can only contribute a limited amount to their guild every day on the server, and this limited amount wont be too tough to get playing fairly.
What this means is, a guild of 50 active, honest players, would EASILY beat a guild of 30 hackers.The concept here is that I want people to make real human connections! One of my favorite parts of playing MMOs as a kid was logging in every day, and saying hi to my guild buddies! This system encourages people to build their own communities -- the stronger the community, the more participation points per day, the better the guild!
There will be some systems so that a guild of 100 Lv.50 players would gain less points per day than a guild of 100 Lv.75 players, but this could be hacked so it wont be a focus. There will be NO ways to spend $$$ to boost your guild directly, but maybe I'll throw in some cosmetics, like a cooler border around your character within the guild menu!

• Steam release is planned for after I add in Guilds. I actually already have most of the infrastructure done, so I theoretically could release now. • I still want to make one final update to idle skilling. The player-base is actually at 70% of what it was one year ago! So I have every reason to return to it, and I think it'd be pretty damn baller to be updating two games at onceMy plan here is to add another set of 3 skills. I won't be fixing certain greivances players had I dont think, like Cosmic Potions (my reasoning as I've stated before is, I genuinely do not believe anyone on this planet has the ability to un-spagetti potion code to fix that, despite the very rational fix suggestions and formulas I've gotten from folks like @cedar skiff ), however I am intent on fixing many of the bugs.

Character Class Distribution -- This tallies up all characters in the game, so if you personally have 2 archers and 1 beginner, you personally are adding +2 to the green, and +1 to the blue!
Highest Player Level -- This is only for the HIGHEST level per account. Having four Lv 50's would only add +1 Lv 50 to the list.
Highest Player Level zoomed -- This has exactly the same numbers as the 1st picture, I just changed the Y-Axis so you can see the values better! Don't know what that means? Just pretend you put a magnifying glass to Picture #2, on the right side. You would see Picture #3 if you did!
Lava Opinions:
• 70% of people ACROSS ALL MOBILE GAMES uninstall on day 1 (Less than 70% of people uninstall Idleon on day 1, I have killer retention, it's definitely the thing that keeps my games in the algorithm at all! This was true for idle skilling too, I was consistently in the upper range for people NOT uninstalling on day 1)
• Do NOT be shocked by "only" 50% of people making it to lv 10! THIS JUST MEANS IDLEON IS KICKING THE CRAP OUT OF OTHER GAMES! I'm quite pleased that an entire 50% actually do make a class! I do think that I can clean up/mainstream the start of the game a bit better of course, however I suspect the Mining Minigame will already help with that!
• Pretty happy with the levels too, I definitely wanted to keep leveling sacred. Honestly again what I expected, these things tend to be very scientific in how steady the decline is as you go higher in level.

Lava Opinions:
• Choppin is a game that HEAVILY favors PC. Wouldn't be shocked if every single score above like 130+ is done on PC. There is a LOT of strategy, which I'll censor in case you'd rather figure it out yourself, ||every time the arrow hits the side of the bar, the game speeds up more when you do finally chop. Chopping every single time the arrow passes over the green is ideal. Obviously yellow bar is worth 2 points, but did you know it ALSO slows down the game a bit? You can also click multiple times when the arrows passes over the green at the start, this is absolutely necessary to get the highest score possible||, but i guarantee you all the top scores know basically every single thing censored.
My Choppin' hiscore is 155
• Fishing is a game that is ALL about momentum. The more fish you catch, the more types of fish that show up, the easier it is to catch fish and keep your streak alive! Bonus fish, of which there are many, are worth BONUS points! You will never ever ever (sometimes, wait no, NEVER) get near the top of the scores without going on a MASSIVE catch streak, and catching many bonus fish.
My Fishing hiscore is 71
• Bug catching is a strange game imo, I still haven't figured out the best strategy myself! I see two prevailing schools of thought -- careful and cautious, where you only go for orange and green hoops that you can easily get, and the fast and furious method, where you ask vin diesel to do it for you. He tends to go for every hoop, since comboing hoops increases the spawn chance of the green and gold hoops which give bonus points.
My Catching hiscore is 97
• The mining game is a straight copy of another game, made by this weird guy I used to know quite well. So yea I basically copied a game called Chicken Odyssey, you can look it up on the google play store... I think that guy went on to make some other idle games actually, maybe you should give him a look! Anyway, you just gotta get REALLY REALLY good at hand-eye coordination, and keeping a rhythm of slamming on rocks and making sure to be on the ground as much as you can, leaving nothing to chance. I played Chicken Odyssey quite a lot, so I'm super good at this.
My mining hiscore is 102
reminder that "only 50%" of people getting to lv 10 is not a low number based on mobile game industry metrics. it's actually a little bit above average (higher than IS was based on it's early metrics too!), as many mobile games see 60-70% uninstall rate on day 1

Also I can't believe this happened, I'm not even sure why or how this happened, but I'm so happy to have made something that so many of you found fun. I know it wasnt a perfect game, and I know it had issues and bugs (something that I'm glad was pointed out to me because it drove me to improve and make Idleon better), but I'm so glad for those of you who were there to share in the journey with me.
As I've said before, I do have 1 more update planned, so sometime next year make sure to check in on it -- I'll have a new Blue/Purple icon for it in the storepage when the update is ready, so you'll know the update is there!
I also hope for those that have been here since 2019 or earlier, that you're proud of how things have progressed -- my antics can get a bit zany, and I definitely would have liked to be more upfront that I was making this mmo (long story short, I am pretty sure I would've quit under the sheer volume of hatred if I had announced the MMO too early, you know how some gamers are), but I really wanted to continue innovating and making new things.
As many of you know, burnout was my #1 reason for leaving idle skilling when i did, but #2 was that because I had lost my passion for the game, any more updates back in 2020 would have been low-effort and solely for the purpose of milking players, which I wasnt willing to do. And #3 was that I really do like making new stuff and proving myself. I really want people to see the value in evolving and trying new things, and i thought a brand-new MMO got that message across better than continual Idle Skilling updates.
Anyway idle skilling got a million downloads so thank you again for this milestone, cant wait to get my golden google-play button in the mail

No. You can have auto on, thats fine, but Offline ghosts dont spawn
How to get Giftmas presents?
Do the daily quests in Blunderhills Town from the Giftmas Blobulyte, for 15 per quest! Or farm monsters, you can get up to 40 per day from monsters! Or farm Ghosts. You CAN get gifts from AFK gains, from both fighting and skilling!
Santa hat? How get???? And the cards, I need those!
Santa hat is a 1 in 50 drop from Presents. Once you get one, you CAN get more, at a reduced rate of 1 in 300 presents. Cards come from presents too, but the Ghost Card comes from only the ghost!
Will there be another Gem Bundle, like the Lava Pack?

Hi everyone! I'm healing slowly but surely (long story short, I was going max speed on my boosted board downhill, and basically fell over backward -- much worse than the few times ive fallen over forward), but I want to try and set a bit of a schedule so you all know what to expect!
Idleon is off to a great start! The playerbase is over double the size of Idle Skilling at it's peak, and its staying the same not un-growing every day! 
**GUILDS **
Create groups of players, and contribute points by playing! You'll only get to contribute a few points per day, so that hackers cant just hack in infinite points, and you can spend these points to level up guild bonuses! Obviously theres a LOT for me to figure out for guilds, but the implementation won't be too tough, as all the framework to do guilds server-side basically exists already in my game.
This will be v1.10
Finishing up World 1 & 2
Things like NPC questlines (djonnut, snakejar, a few more piggies), Glyphs, and secrets. I'm still sad I couldn't get it together to have this all in the game already, but for those of you that aren't familiar with game development [those who are familiar will already know the following to be true], it is a MIRACLE that I made it this far at all. Saying "I'm gonna quit my successful game, and just go make some MMO idk im sure itll work out" is not generally something you follow through on... Seriously. Say that to someone with a straight face. You will be laughed at, and rightfully so
This will be a part of v1.10
Steam Release
I am pretty sure that once by the time Guilds comes out, it will be in good shape to launch to steam in early access (mobile launched in full because I feel like the game was complete enough to be a full game in the mobile-scene, but wasnt complete enough to be a full game on PC)
This will come shortly after v1.10. There will probably be bug fixes inbetween v1.10 and Steam Release
World 3 and Classes
Classes aren't that hard to make, I could probably make all 5 missing classes (yes, 5, not three lol) in a week or two. Problem is, all their talents will be centered around world 3 skills/content, which is why they weren't there at launch.
ALSO, because I had initially planned to release world 3 at launch, I've already done a fair amount of it, so it will be done faster than youd think.
However, there is still a HEFTY amount of work that goes into an entire world, wouldnt be surprised if I don't even get this done this month.
World 3 will also increase # of player slots to 12!
• Here's what world 3 will be about:
||First and foremost, 12 players... wow that is WAY too many to manage, I agree! World 3 will focus on introducing fun, new mechanics that not only give bonuses, but more importantly, focus on automation and making it easier to manage 12 people. There is no way late-game will be even remotely fun after 6 people unless I'm able to add systems that make it so you can focus on a few main characters, and really treat the rest as Laborers. That is what World 3 will do||
This will be v1.20
World 3 and Classes
As I said before, I doubt v1.20 will come out in Feb, but March is reasonable!
Idle Skilling Finale
Honestly I have no idea what I'm gonna do with this... but I am genuinely stoked to do this. The concept of dipping out of Idleon for 3-5 weeks to make that last Idle Skilling update is pretty appealing, and it does feel good to compare how I feel now, versus how I felt in Dec 2019.
Whatever this update is, it'll be 2x as good as what it would have been if I had just pooped it out earlier this year instead of going where the passion was, which was making Idleon
This will be v3.0 of Idle Skilling -- If it does well, I may even make another update later! The playerbase for Idle Skilling right now is about 60% what it was in 2019, so there is still quite an audience waiting for this, and I even have a cool new icon for when this drops!
World 4
As I've said before, my VISION for this game from the start was 8 worlds, and I will be accomplishing this before I consider the game finished.
I would like to get world 4 out sometime in April/May/June. My idea is that each "world" will be similar to an Idle Skilling update, like Pets/Tunnels/Farming.
More MMO features
So as I've always said, every multiplayer feature will ALWAYS be made in a way that hackers can't ruin it. While this does mean that things like a 'global economy' will never exist, it doesn't actually prevent me from doing most things! Even stuff like Trading could work, if I structure it correctly and have daily-caps so that if a hacker somehow avoided cheat-detection, they couldn't break the system.
||However, what this DOES mean, is that every MMO feature will feel... a bit light. That is to say, in most MMOs, the TOP players in the game get to feel like gods. IdleOn will never feel that way for top players due to these anti-hack limitations. I dont think this is a bad thing by the way. I believe this will force me to make MMO features in a way that NO other mmo has, which I think can lead to a better result than just "oh, simple average item trading, just like every other mmo has".||
Side Content
I will probably add a way to delete your player WAY BEFORE this time, but after that, I would like to add some rebirth/ascention mechanic centered around resetting characters! I know something like 50%+ of people don't actually ascend/rebirth a single time, but I think once we reach world 4, the game will be in need of some more Active elements. There are also some speedrunning/timed challenge kind of ideas that would involve resetting to lv 1 and racing through old content! Idle Skilling did this a tiny bit, but I never got to explore this concept as much as I wanted there.
World 5 & 6
No idea what these will be, maybe tower defense! As you all know, I love trying to be creative and cross genres (I mean Pets in Idle Skilling was a "Breeding/Auto Chess/Team builder hybrid, that was quite a crazy combo!), so these worlds will be progressively more and more bizarre. As I've gotten a bit older, I've grown more and more attached to the idea of making something that wouldn't otherwise exist. That is to say, I don't plan on copy-pasting earlier worlds and just changing the art.
Not much to report, been working on actually getting work-life balance in order over the last week while I've been recovering from my fall.
Basically just getting myself sorted so I can really get into this game over the next 12-18 months! I used to really use school as a structure for my life -- waking up for early lectures + tests -- but now that that's over with I don't really have anything tying me down, which is the reason why I was able to make this whole game (but at the same time, the reason why I got caught in a terrible sleep/work schedule of 3pm - 7 am)
Currently, I'm bug fixing, adding some bolt cutters ✂️, and working out all those missing quests in Worlds 1 + 2
Also, I redid a bit of the UI. WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THE NEXT UPDATE THIS WEEKEND, DONT BE ALARMED!!
I'll be listening to feedback as always! If lots of people don't like the new UI, I'll be changing it back ez pz!

Hey idle doods, i never got to leave a Xmas/new years message for u guys
but I do want to thank you all for being around and helping me get this game going -- while the game itself honestly has done pretty well without any major problems or fan backlash over this not being idle skilling 2 and all that -- there is another element that I want to thank you all for personally.
Unlike an actual company, a lot of the success of this game is not just from how well the game does, but also how I feel about it. Keeping my head in the game and on top of everything I have to do to make the game fun and interesting (youll see in world 3!) is honestly a more daunting task than any of the actual coding/art, and even though most of you may not see this aspect, I get so much genuine enthusiasm from you guys in DMs and just scrolling through sometimes watching people chat/ask questions fills me with DETERMINATION 🧀 . I mean I actually have been smiling to myself now when I really think about what we've got on our hands with this game, and where it can grow to in the next few months... I'm feeling great, my back injury from my skateboard is fully healed finally and I've gotten to start running again.... I'm pumped for this year and I'm really feeling some top stuff coming in the next few updates!
So thank you discord community for the happiness I get from watching you all enjoying my game, because it really does go a long way for me to continue living and breathing this game in the way that I need to in order to make it what it is. My plan is to add the first 10 talents -- various Attacks/Buffs/Damage/Stat things, similar to Barbarian/Bowman/Shaman -- WAY before world 3 comes out
The bottom row, which will focus on World 3 Skills, will of course stay locked until world 3 comes out.
My current timeline is:
- Release guilds
- Release first 10 talents for Squire/Hunter/Wizard (possibly in the same update as guilds... possibly just shortly after)
- Release to Steam -- yes you can import your Android/Website account... I've said this from the beginning, it'd be insanely weird for me to have made a cross-platform game that doesnt work with steam
- Release world 3
Summary You'll get most of the unfinished classes pretty soon (few weeks), then the rest a while later with World 3 (many many weeks)
I am aware of the Post-Office bug, where newly created characters have their points already spent in a similar way to one of your other characters.
For this reason, I will be giving people Post Office Reset items, 1 for each character, in the next update. (And of course will be trying to fix this bug so it doesnt happen again!

**Star Sign sneak peek 👀 ** -- one of the weaker systems in the game, but it should make for a fun few hours of running around trying to find all the constellations.
Also been thinking more and more about world 3... I've got some solid ideas so far I think you guys are gonna really like. Thinking about what I have planned for world 3 makes world 2 genuinely look like crap haha. Gonna go for a lot of "idle" features, and automation so when you create your new characters (will go up to 10 char slots) you wont have to micromanage all 10 all the time like you do currently.
- Things like setting up auto-farming devices and linking-nodes to auto-transport resources and buff beacons that you PERSONALLY place anywhere you want in the world, so there's lots of freedom to set things up how you want -- and I'll try to do it in a way where there is no "best" strat like there is with talents, so that if you like doing your own thing you wont feel like you're behind ppl looking up guides
- new types of resources to harvest and in much different ways than just "tap here and wait". Like, MUCH different
- and probably something else i mean theres always something else lol

Sneak look at some of the icons for GUILD BONUSES!

- Also if u didn't know, you unlock bonuses by spending Guild GP, which all members earn by doing daily/weekly checklist tasks. They're nothing special, stuff like 'kill 10 bosses in a week' or 'clear colosseum 1'
- Also^2, remember hackers won't ruin the fun here (they can't even join guilds lol), because earning GP is done on the server and I can easily check for hacks that way

The concept around balancing for GUILD BONUSES is two things:
- Have them not be so strong or special that being in a bad guild would make you jealous of good guilds (no OP things like +100 gems every day or +6x exp)
- Have the levels scale so that big-time guilds wont be too far ahead of small-time guilds (i.e. going from Lv 1 -> 5 is easy, 5 -> 8 medium, 8->10 SUPER difficult). this way a big guild gets to feel good about having something like +3% AFK gains, but a small guild will still be happy with their +2%.
2b. Tiny source of weekly gems to further show that I am building an actual free-to-play game
Top Row of Wizard talents! I basically took all the fun ideas and put them all into wizard, and left squire and hunter with the lame talents that only a lame lime would want

Something worth mentioning
When you leave a guild, that guild wont lose the GP you contributed :]
This way if you ever want to switch guilds u dont have to feel bad, or feel like all your efforts were for nothing
This does mean that your old GP wont miraculously appear in the new guild though, youd start from 0 there
The ones with red indicate tasks that change every day/week
And I plan on adding new tasks/changing the 'constant' ones each major update
You also get a free +10 GP for logging in every day
And yes you can complete these / progress on all characters. So if you collect just 5 cards on 5 different players, you'd get to claim the last 30-gp task
Getting to actually see how many statues you need to level up... it just makes sense

What are Star Signs? How do I unlock them?
You know the Giant Tree in world 1? It's entrance is at Slimes. Get to the top, and then click on the tiny constellation engraved in the tree, near the bottom right of the screen. You'll figure out the rest
What's GP? How do I get it?
Guild Points are earned through daily/weekly claims. You can see the claim-box below. GP is shared between everyone in the guild, and the Guild Leaders spend it to upgrade bonuses, which are also shared between everyone

I've had a bunch of fun streaming this week, drawing, giving out way too many gems, and seeing you all create really cool guilds -- I feel like I've seen all 120 guild icons used throughout the game!
So World 3 is next, but what's it all about?
• First of all, you'll get to create up to 12 characters, up from the current max of 7. World 3 will ENTIRELY revolve around this change. Imagine swapping between 12 character, trying to keep track of what they're all doing, rotating them around to farm certain resources... I'd have to call the game IdleOff at that rate!
• Point is, automation will be front and center. World 1 has smithing, World 2 has Alchemy, and World 3 will have construction. With construction, you'll get to build machines that 'play' characters for you -- imagine an auto-farming device that grinds (based off of the stats of one of your characters) AND auto-deposits the items to your chest AND you don't even have to check up on that character for it to function!
• The idea here is that I want later characters, like characters 8-12+, to not take up much of your time. Instead of swapping to them every day or two, I want you to be able to swap to them once every few weeks -- yes, you'll still need to spend their talent points and equip them with armor/weapons/obols, but you won't need to do any 'repeatable' tasks like running to-and-from town.
🪚 Construction is the town skill, very cool! But what about the other World 3 skills?
• I'm not going to go too crazy with the skills -- things like Tower Defence or Pet Breeding will come later -- but they will be a step above the current skills.
• They'll involve the normal loop of collecting resource A, then eventually collecting resource B, etc etc, **however **I want the loop to be different than just "click here and wait".
• For example, Trapping will be one of the new skills, and it'll involve creating various traps (to be fair this may actually be done in construction). The important aspect is that you'll get to manually place these traps anywhere in the game, and depending on how long you wait and where you place them, you'll get different quantities and types of resources -- I may even attach a subsystem of battling whatever resource your trap catches first before you actually get any of the resource, but we'll see. I am looking to incorporate fighting into skilling, it's something I've been wanting to try since way back in the Idle Skilling days
• The other skill, Worship I would like to keep more idle. Some sort of 'passive' skill that doesn't involve manually doing much, or running to a certain map. Something you can do when you say "man I just dont know what to do with this character... eh I'll just stick them on Worship". This is probably the thing in world 3 that I have thought up the least so far
How about sub systems? Like Stamps/Post Office, what will world 3 have?
• So I will always have 2 sub-systems in each world -- a BIG subsystem, and a small one. No clue what the small system will be for world 3, but I've been thinking a LOT about the big system:
• The big system will involve completing special time challenges. They'll all involve resetting one of your characters (yes, permanently resetting them. But I give you 12 character slots, so you'll be ok), and completing a certain challenge with a certain restriction. The point of this system will be that you get to take a break from the main loop of the game, if and hyper-focus in on a single character.
• For example, something like: "Defeat World 1 boss in 24 hours without accessing the chest". The fun here would be figuring out "ok... whats the best use of those 24 hours? How much time should I spend gathering resources... should I spend much time at all? Should I spend time unlocking the Giant Tree to farm sticks or just go straight to the boss?".
• The other element to these challenges is knowing that (apart from certain restrictions), all account bonuses will work. So while there may be smart ways to complete challenges early, if youre a dumby like me, you can always just sit back and wait for your account bonuses to pile up and then just steamroll the challenge easy peasy
• Note: I'll never have challenges that would require you to play all day. If I have a 24 hour challenge for example, I'll always structure it so it can be done with just 30 mins - 1 hour of active play that day (maybe spread across multiple play sessions of course)
With this update will also come all the normal stuff -- New monsters, new NPCs, new Quests, new Tasks, Tier 3 Anvil, new Bribes, new Obols, new Alchemy Bubbles, and some other stuff
Here are a few random tidbits about World 3 that don't fit in the above categories:
• Anvil AND cauldron will be getting more recipes/bubbles. As with Idle Skilling, I never leave behind old content. When world 3 comes out, you can expect to be Smithing and Alchemy-ing just as much as you currently are, while also of course engaging with World 3 skills too.
• World 1 and 2 will be getting a MASSIVE speed boost. What I mean is that I want reaching world 3 to be like 70% faster than it currently is. So if you're going to take a break from the game, or know friends who thought it was too slow, keep that in mind.
• I want to experiment with making complicated content in an EASILY DIGESTIBLE way. I will not be betraying my usual development style, but I will be experimenting with stepping away from my usual convoluted nature.
I want to try and make something that makes you think:
> "ah i see how this works... huh actually woah this is more complicated than it looked at first glance! I'm gonna love figuring out how best to do this"
and NOT have you go:
> "wow this looks hard at first glance, lemme break out the science textbooks maybe those will help me understand what's going on here"
I experimented last time with no deadlines, and while it was a huge huge help to my personal wellbeing, it did result in the update coming out several weeks after it could have. As a result, I want to start by setting some sort of deadline for World 3:
I expect to release v1.20 on (or near) MARCH 28th. Obviously I probably wont hit that day exactly, but you get the picture.

Wont be the most wacky system youll ever see, but there are some interesting gimmicks to the skill that I think youll all really like
This is trapping, one of the two "Resource" skills of world 3
rather than just clicking on a resource, and collecting from it (mining/fishing/choppin/catching), youll place down traps
As you craft better boxes (similar to crafting bronze/iron/gold Tools for other skills), youll get different boxes to place down, each taking a different amount of time to collect/give a different amount of exp (say you're playing semi-actively through the day, you'l probably use the 2-hour boxes... but if you're oging on vacation, maybe you'll use the 1-week boxes)
Each character will get to place down MULTIPLE traps! -- but don't worry about having to keep track, your Box Tool will tell you where you placed the boxes if you tap it for info!
Yikes... so I'm gonna have to switch between ALL my characters, run around a bunch of maps to all my traps and constantly collect/reset them?
||(For 100% rewards, technically yes lolol)|| -- Nope! There'll be a system thatll auto collect/transfer items to chest/reset traps FOR ALL CHARACTERS IN 1 click! It'll cost you a % of the rewards of course, and your characters wont get any Trapping Exp, but thats a fair trade imo ||I think it makes sense too... if you dont actively use traps, why SHOULD your character level up their trapping?||
The point of this system is that you get the fun of going "hmm... I've got all my characters, where should I place my traps?", without having the annoying "ugh ok well time to go harvest all my traps all over the game for the 1000th time!!!"

In honor of how often stuff i do makes no sense, i posted this UI sneak peek in a way that makes no sense
So heres a Status update about Idleon over the next few weeks
World 3 will NOT be coming out soon
I could have rushed it out, but the mechanics (mainly creating/placing towers and structures around the game) would have been flawed and entirely unenjoyable. I have been churning away for about an hour each night solely on working out these mechanics, and I continually come up with more refined ideas. This alone really made me realize that it wasnt good enough to put out to you guys, and I'm gonna keep working on it until I'm happy with it (I WONT over-work it though. Not gonna go for perfection, just a solid 8 or 9 score
Steam is coming April 2nd, at 10am PST
I'm gonna be streaming at release, probably all day, and dropping plenty of stuff and chatting with people in game, having a party and all that kinda stuff. May even code in some extra dev-fun-spawn-thingies for myself just for the steam release.
Please remember to rate the game on Steam. Im really scared of getting the first ever "Complete Crap -- (193 reviews)" Steam Score for getting 0% positive ratings

I have written down for myself that I want to release v1.20 "World 3" on April 30th, just for the record
I'm gonna take my time as I have recently, but at the same time I do need to get some 🔥 under me to really keep me going, so everyone react with how you'd feel if it WASNT release by April 30th!

To answer your question -- no, you do not normally start the game with 7200 hours of time candy. You only get those if you type in "Gimme Candy" in the in-game chat while below level 10

You'll unlock Prayer Orbs (they wont be all blue, thats just Filler Art) by reaching certain waves in Worship!
Worship is a pseudo survival/tower defence skill coming in world 3. Imagine a boring skill, like mining or fishing, where your Resources/hr is not based on Efficiency, but instead your highscore in that resource's tower defence!
You'll need one Wizard class character to equip prayers. Just one though, and ALL your characters will be able to equip prayers!
Having a level 72 wizard will mean each of your characters can equip 2 prayers EACH, wheras having a level 101 wizard means each of your character can equip 3 at once!
**Prayers are bonuses
that ALSO come with a downside
** -- Imagine +40% exp gain, BUT all monsters have +250% max HP. Or +40% drop rate, but your Max Carry cap is -50%.
With 25 total Prayers, and ability to activate up to 12 at once (most of you will probably be at 3-4 at once for a few more months), theres a lot of different combinations, giving you guys even more ways to really carve out your own experience!
I did take the last 9 days off (longest amount of time I've taken off since 2019, wew) so I'm not so sure about getting this out within April.
However, I'm very confident on the other hand about getting this out early May -- Steam release really messed with my head lol, was a lot of attention all at once, especially with the streaming, and I wasn't really prepared for it. My previous release predictions did NOT take into consideration the steam release, hence this big 'delay'
Don't be too disappointed though, world 3 probably wouldve sucked without this time off (like really), and I'd have been burned out big time once I did finish world 3, and probably wouldve needed a longer recovery period.
POINT IS: I'm feeling much better about both world 3, as well as the next 6-12 months, thanks to taking last week off, so try not to spam me with too many 
Alright I'm back in it, things have been going great all of this week
I'm tempted to announce an estimated release day now, but I think I'll hold off on doing that for next week
But I've got everything figured out, and everything is either completely figured out, partly finished, or entirely finished.... so the point is,
I'm definitely looking at early-mid May for World 3 release (or at the very least, alpha testing starting then, so you KNOW it's super close)
Looking slightly forward after v1.20 "world 3" update, there'll definitely be some small "quality of life" improvement updates in the days/weeks after, as well as the promised arcade feature
After those, I'll probably hop over to Idle Skilling for a few weeks, and after that I'll recalculate exactly what I want to do (whether its small improvements to IdleOn, or just straight up working on World 4 for IdleOn)
||also the tower defence mode is looking real good
Its obviously not as good as like... an actual tower defense game, but I think the progression of unlocking different towers via Construction makes it more unique than normal tower defense games. Also, it not being top-down is genuienly refreshing. ||

Currently, we are waiting for me to make World 3, which will be just like world 1 or 2, but with cooler stuff!
There'll be 3 new skills -- 2 'resource collection' ones (like mining/fishing), and 1 big town skill (like smithing/alchemy). Only difference is, these world 3 'resource skills' are WAY cooler, and WAY more fun than just "click on resource and wait".
There'll also be everything else in a world -- tons of new monsters, maps, NPC's, Quests, 'side mechanics' (think Post Office/Statues but more fun).
Basically, +50% more content entirely, since we are going from 2 -> 3 worlds -- Also, a LOT of this ties back to world 1 & 2! There'll be new smithing recipes, new Alchemy Bubbles, stamps, statues, star signs... basically new EVERYTHING
By the way, which skill are you guys looking forward to more? Trapping or Worship?
🪤 Trapping involves placing many different traps, and collecting them later to gather critters. If you get lucky, you'll get a 'shiny' critter, which can be used to unlock the NEXT critter type! you'll craft new trap types at the Anvil in world 1, which all last for different times and grant different bonuses
🔮 Worship is the tower defense mode im adding, where you gradually unlock new types of towers & higher "max Lvs" of towers and fight off endless waves of enemies until you run out of lives. reach certain waves to unlock new tower defence zones and Prayer Orbs (side mechanic)
Probably the last thing I'm gonna post about world 3 -- gonna let you all experience it yourselves firsthand in a few weeks

I usually hype up GIANT updates like this WAY more than I have... but I really want you all to see for yourself that world 3 is awesome by actually playing, rather than by just reading me say "world 3 is awesome!"
Expect +50% (or more) content to the game overall, if i had to say 1 hype thingy -- (i.e. probably the biggest world in terms of content, AND there's additional content to world 1 + 2)

Honestly like 95% done with the update. Sorry to have not made the 22nd deadline, but I think its just a few days away now -- If i had set the deadline later, say the 25th, we would just be in this same situation but 3 days later on.
(and to everyone new here, this is pretty standard. I'm usually a few days late on things, but I ALWAYS deliver fun content that was worth the wait. It sucks in the short term, but in the long term its for the best!)

alpha testing has started, which means you KNOW the update is coming out soon, no more delays!
I really think ill easily make a weekend release time. Even if the update is done on wednesday/thursday, i may release it late friday so everyone has equal chance to play on release :]
(I wont give a release day / time until the update is like 100% ready to release, just so i dont miss it again)
but that being said, I am planning for this weekend! -- alpha testing is going really well, there are lots of things i need to tweak (like better 'instructions' for the new skills), and some bugs here and there
a few months ago, world 3 was like 30% done so i said "i think i can do the other 70% in 3 weeks!" -- hence the "end of march" release date i missed
after steam release, world 3 was like 50% done so i said "i think i can do the other 50% within a month!" -- hence the end of april release date i missed
a week ago, it was like 80% done so i said "i think i can do the other 20% within a week!" -- hence the May 22th release date i missed
but now its like 95% done. -- point is, its not like the update was ever being 'delayed', it was more bad judgement and 'wishful thinking' on my end
But mentally this was just a rough update and time period for me in many ways, and I'll talk about them all in the world 3 stream when its released. Dont think i set/missed these deadlines to 'troll' or out of laziness, it was more that its just what I needed mentally to get this done without just 'copping out' and making it boring and badly designed.
Summary: Soz for the missed deadlines, there was a reason that it happened (as annoying as they were), and world 3 is so close to done that it's already being actively beta tested!
||PS: If youre still angry, just tune in to my world 3 twitch stream on release day and get un-angried by picking up TONS of free gems that i always drop

For a general idea of when I'll stream the release of World 3, I am looking at friday / saturday (i.e. 48 - 72 hours from now).
As soon as Im officially done with world 3, I'll post here with an official time of streaming. I will do my best to do this at least 12 hours in advance

Please don't be concerned if there are any minor bugs in v1.20. I'll be doing daily patches for at least a few days (I always do this with big major updates, at least for my last game), so you wont have to wait long at all if you run into issues!

Super busy with v1.21, I'd love to get it out soon -- although I wont be saying any dates until it is literally all tested and good! But remember, we are doing small weekly updates now for a while, not big updates every several months!
But I did just think of something... you know those NPC Tokens? Well, since I'm going to continue having these as a feature (to build 'end of world' trophies), how would you like it if you could just 'hold down' on the token once you get it, and its "added to your account" the same way Colosseum Tickets / Boss Keys are? Then, when you need them to craft the trophy parts, you can just 'reclaim' them into token form and use them to craft?
I'm sure there are cleaner/better ways to implement this... but this is one I know I could do, and I think I'd rather just get this system in the game now, rather than wait around hoping to think of a better system :]
Also, there's a new ranking system in the discord!
You level up by sending messages -- you only get EXP for the 1st message you send every few minutes, so spamming messages doesnt work
I may give out gems for a few people for each rank -- so if you were a "Bandit Bob Lv.7", you would have a chance to win from the "Bandit Bob", "Journeyman", AND "Poops" gem raffle!
Another idea, just to see how badly you guys want it:
You use a talent reset potion -- there is now a button that you can press as many times as you want, which resets talent points. The button only goes away when you move maps
This will let you like, try out things / redo any mistakes, while still keeping resets valuable since you do need to 'lock in' your talents before going anywhere
Note: This 'infinite reset' button will only appear if in town. I'll probably edit the 'description' of talent reset potiosn to mention this -- "If used in town, gives the ability to reset as many times as you want until you leave!"
Inventory Slot Locking (no accidentally selling / dropping / depositing to Chest) -- one of many things you'll find in v1.21!
Also there's gonna be a new Star Talent which will make you go "Ohh, I see why he added this now" :]

There's a new event, and I'm just taking a bit of extra time to try and make it more special than normal events
I think I may make the event a 3-part event, adding a new fun thing to do each week (starting with 1 fun thing).
Like, it'll be a full sized event to start with, pretty similar to other events, but I'm gonna structure it in a way so that each week it gets more stuff (I have a really interesting idea for week 2, but it requires some server-wide stuff that I cannot rush out)

Had 1st round of alpha testing last night, everyone was crashing, but I got it stable this morning
Since then it's just been straight bug fixing, still a few things left to iron out
I would like to release this update tomorrow afternoon... say 14-15 hours from now
(Like this is one of those 'official' release times, where you can rightfully complain now if I miss this one!)

Alpha looks about 95% done (I could even release it now, but theres 2 little bugs that I should patch up now rather than later), and things seem stable

Confused about the Summer Event? 🏝️
Kill monsters! They have a chance to drop coolers! (The more coolers you get, the rarer they become, and this resets each day)
You can only get 50 coolers from monsters every day, across your entire account. Once you reach this amount, Event Monsters will stop spawning for the rest of that day
The 'daily reset' happens at the same time your Shop restocks! So Event Quests, the 50 coolers every day... that all resets with your Town Shops!
Also, I did my best to make obols fun and fair, but I'm absolutely keeping an eye out on how people feel! I suspect I may need to boost the obol drop rate from monsters (the thing you unlock with merits in w2 Task Shop).
I'll hold a poll on it in #game-polls📊 either tomorrow or the next day, so I can get a good idea of what I need to do in v1.22b (small hotfix patch coming before v1.23 next weekend)
ALSO, my intention is for people to get 80-100 gems per day, so ~2000 free gems from the event!

Hi everyone! It's been so long since I last sat down and talked to you all about my plans and thoughts on IdleOn! World 3 had me laser focused on content and fixes for quite a while there, and I didn't want to break that concentration! I'll organize everything you need to know about IdleOn into 3 parts: summarizing 'The State of IdleOn' over the last few months, where things stand currently, and all my plans for the future!

Summary of last few months:
• My last Blog Post was in February, can you believe that? At that point, guilds had just come out! No world 3 release... not even Steam was out yet!
• My focus during that whole time was communicating (non verbally) to players that IdleOn was being actively developed, and going in the right direction. Steam was a great first step in this, as it helped bring a sense of legitimacy to the game that it wouldn't have if it were 'just some mobile f2p', which in turn helped bring in lots of new players!
• As for showing that we are going in the right direction, I knew world 3 would be hugely important -- not only would it be the first big new content since December, but I knew it would set the tone of updates going forward.** If world 3 felt average, uninspired, or too similar to world 2, then there wouldn't be much reason to look forward to world 4+, which is the backbone of IdleOn.** In other words, I could have just 'phoned it in' for world 3 and players in general may not have minded immediately. But, if I had done that, there would be an underlying lack of excitement for world 4 and beyond, which would be terrible for long-term health of the game! ||For example, worship was actually planned to just be a colloseum-esque battlefield mode. No towers, no wizards... just your player fighting monsters until you lost. This was a common thing in world 3 (and most of my development), where ideas usually start off lame and have to be made into something unique.||
• So... what exactly have the last few months looked like? Lets take a look at some player numbers!

This is a chart of STEAM ONLY CONCURRENT USERS -- In other words, this is the number of STEAM users playing AT ONCE.
This means the total number of people playing every day (not publicly available, that's for my eyes only 👀) is much higher than these numbers! This is just the number of people playing at the same time during the most active part of the day!
But you see how it spikes up, then slowly goes back down? Let me explain that to ya!
What this means is that a massive influx of new players came in, just to try out the game, and the uninterested ones slowly leave.
In other words, that spike in players isn't really "real" players. They're just random gamers trying the game out for a day -- not people I would consider "part of the community". But, while many of those random gamers leave, some stay and become a part of the community.
This is what the Blue and Red lines indicate, a growth in the ACTUAL community of IdleOn! 
Where things are at currently:
• Summer Event launched 2 days ago, and I'll be supporting that each week for the next 2 weeks. In addition, I'm just going to be doing more general upkeep -- adding Quality of Life improvements (statues, anyone?), as well as other long-promised features like Pachinko and Party Dungeons, but more on that later.
• I've been looking into various ways to get IdleOn out to more people (through sponsorships), so you may see some sporadic boosts in player numbers over the coming weeks. As I've always said, I have a solid vision on how to grow IdleOn to be as big and lively as it can be, and that involves actually using the money you guys give me, instead of just hoarding it like some dragon! A vast majority of people playing found IdleOn via ads ||open the Google Play Store, and take a very close look for the word "Ads" next to "Suggested for you". Yep, all of those are actually ads, and thats how many of you found IdleOn, and that costs heaps of money||, which is only possible because of all of your AMAZING support! Trust me, visibility in the gaming industry doesn't come cheap, especially when you don't have any business connections lol. Point is, IdleOn is still on the grow thanks to you all, and I'm going to continue keeping this up! Thank you again to everyone playing and supporting!!! I seriously don't do this enough, the reaction to IdleOn has been so far beyond what I had hoped for, and I'm very ready to continue paying it back by delivering on quality updates!
Future Roadmap:
Firstly, I still plan on IdleOn eventually having 8 worlds. Many of these worlds will be less 'full' of content compared to world 3 when it comes to Skills, while still having the normal 12+ map monster progression and basic features (like tasks, cards, etc). This means I do expect to be developing IdleOn into 2023! (I know in game it says "after 2022, who knows", but I wrote that in 2020, so I'm going to update that as well!)
👀 Listed features are IN ORDER I EXPECT TO RELEASE THEM!
• Going through backlog of Player Suggestions, and adding necessary "Quality of Life" improvements to the game, including Statue Revamp
• Arcade! This'll be a minigame in the desert, where you drop ballz to earn gems and goodies! You'll earn gems every day you login.
• Achievements, and a few secrets (like Boop Sewers). There'll be 100s of achievements (some of them will be the Steam Achievements, but for mobile!), and rewards will range from gems, to permanent increase in daily Arcade Ballz, and even new starting screens (those locked squares in the top-left of the player menu)
• Party system. Join groups with other players, and get bonuses by fighting monsters together!
• Party dungeons. These will be linear dungeons full of monsters to fight, puzzles, and bosses -- the damage you do to the boss will be seen by your friends to, so its actual co-op!! I don't want these to feel grindy (there'll be a weekly cap, probably 7 attempts per week), but rather a fun way to play IdleOn with friends! The rewards would be heavily RNG based (so that a beefy friend cant carry their nooby friends to OP items immediately).
• Guild Hall -- see other players, build up a cool personal hall for your guild, other stuff you know super awesome stuff!!!
• World 3 content completion -- Chizoar & C. Chizoar boss, entire world 3 questlines from all NPCs, constellations, and the other Utility Towers in Construction beyond Cost Cruncher.
• World 4. It will be Purple Alien Space themed (like tutorial), and will be the first example of an "intermediate world". By this I mean it'll still be unique and interesting, but will be less intricate and complex than world 3 skills. There'll be a whole host of new monsters to fight, with the max HP of the final monster probably being around 5,000,000 (as of now). The focus will most likely be funneled back into world 2/3. Think of IdleOn as a movie, where World 2 and 3 are the 'main actors', and world 4 as something of a 'supporting actor'. Still a major character on scene, but their role is to give the main actors more attention.
• Subsub classes for EVERY sub class! This would bring the total classes from 12 to 24! Blood berserker, Death Bringer, the one with the cannon, some beast tamer thing, a plague dude, the works! World 4 will have only some of the sub-classes, probably for Barb/Bowman/Shaman (world 2 specialized classes), and world 5 would have the rest. So expect 18 total classes in world 4, and 24 total classes in world 5!
• Sailing! This actually may be one of the W4 skills, but it'll also have a huge world 2 expansion, where you get to explore islands off of the Yum-Yum Coast!
• Pet Followers. They'll be visible on screen, fully animated, and will follow you around. There'll be some unique pets, but many will be reskinned mini-versions of current monsters (like how Mr. Blueberrry is a reskinned Crabby Cake for the summer event). I think they'll give some bonus stats -- they'll definitely take up one of the Blank equipment slots on the Specials tab... you know, the tab where you equip Trophies.
• Steam Release! This could be big, and I will not be rushing this. The earliest I could imagine this happening is in January/February of 2022, but I think even then I'll hold continual polls and really make sure IdleOn is ready for the wider audience. It absolutely needs to hold its own as an MMO before this happens (minus trading and PvP).
Does this mean the end of IdleOn after? Nonooononononoonononno, no! I've found that people really like engaging with games that are still 'alive', especially in the MMO genre, so this would mark the stage where IdleOn is a 'full' experience and is ready for a broader audience. 8 Worlds, remember!
• Ok, this is pretty far out at this point, probably close to 12 months away... but around here I'd probably start on world 5, which would be a "full" world (not intermediate like world 4). Honestly, by now plans will definitely change for one reason or another (you know how life does that to ya), so I'll just stop it here!
Things that I haven't got a clue when I'll do, and might be done in between any of the above features:

By the way, the week 2 thing isn't something where having it out for less than 7 days will matter. It could be out for 1 day and have the same impact. Week 3 on the other hand, that one matters since each day = past event cards, so that one I'm gonna push to get out on time. So yea if it's not out today, thats just me prioritizing my health over timeliness. It's the weekend, let me work at 50% pace instead of 100%
I may take an extra bit of time to do a few things (like put in a display of how many Daily Coolers out of 50 youve collected!)

What are tags?
🟣 🔴 🟡 ⚪ are tags. You are given one as soon as you update to v1.22c
||People with no tag aren't on the new update||

How did you give people tags?
🟣 People lv 115+ start on purple team
🔴 People lv 100+ start on red team (about 2x as many people as on purple team)
🟡 People lv 90+ start on yellow team (about 3x as many people as on purple team)
⚪ Everyone else starts on Grey team! (about 3000x as many people as on purple team)
||Also note: For people Shadowbanned, I'm finally gonna add in the "Shadowban Appeal" system in, and I'm gonna do it BEFORE this is over. That way you'll have a chance to tag people :D||
What do tags do?
People on 🟣 🔴 or 🟡 can say "Tag <playername>" if they see a ⚪ . Doing so will convert that player onto their team PERMANENTLY
People on ⚪ can do nothing. They can either try to remain un-converted, or get converted to another team so they can tag ⚪ 's themselves!

Cool! ... but like, why?
To see which team would win! Will white team win, who started with 100,000s of people? Will purple team win, who only started with like a few hundred top players? I'm curious to find out, that's for sure!
(Teams will be given prizes shown in #patch-notes📝 , but the difference between 4th and 1st place is only 100
so don't take this too seriously!!)

I tried to tag, but it didnt work?
This can happen sometimes -- that means the other person probably has their game minimized (so they dont 'receive' the tag, hence it doesnt count), or they may already HAVE a coloured tag, and it just hasn't shown up yet on screen for you. Basically, if you try to tag and it doesnt work, move on to someone else

Results from Week 2 TAG TEAM event!
For every 1 person who started on purple team (lv 115+), there were 2 people who started on red team (lv 100+), and 3 people who started on yellow (lv 90+). Every other person who played during the week started on Grey
⚪ = 🥇 with 41.3% of the population
🔴 = 🥈 with 24.7% of the population
🟡 = 🥉 with 17.6% of the population
🟣 = 💩 with 16.4% of the population
Note: No, people who didnt update / didnt play during the week did not count toward grey. I kept track of those numbers just to be sure, and can confirm the grey team size is accurate to those who were actively playing during week 2
||Also, don't worry about the glitchyness of the tagging, it was just a tester to see how people would like something like this. If i ever do it again, I'll make it way more robust!||

Finishing world 3 - I really should keep mentioning this, please do not be concerned about world 3 not getting done! It's not only easier to finish world 3 than it would be to start on world 4, but in my own priority list world 3 is more important than w4!
Little WIP snippet of upgrading "RNG" items, which will be the random items you encounter during a dungeon run
Started getting some solid progress on Party Dungeons -- if you like Roguelites (think "Binding of Isaac" where you can make permanent progress inbetween runs) with TONS of different upgrade systems, you're gonna love this!
If you didn't already know, I tend to make less posts here as I work more and more on new content, so don't be worried if you don't hear much from me over the next few weeks!
I do want to get this feature out around the end of August, but I'm expecting the alpha-testing process for this to be rather long, considering the multiplayer aspects. So think "End of August" as just an idea for what I'm thinking, NOT as an expected release time. I will announce a more specific intended release time later, and will announce the release day ONLY when I have things ready 
Things party dungeons WILL be:
A cooperative experience, where you actually get to fight WITH others! So you get to fight the same monsters and your damage is all combined together -- you know, like a real MMO
Very 'dense' gameplay. Dungeons will have a time limit, and the entire experience will be full of things to do, rather than just 'grinding'. Which monsters should you be fighting? Which upgrades should you take? (remember, its a roguelike with randomly generated items each run). What's going right, whats going wrong, how can you adjust in future runs?
An integral part of the game, but no more integral than any other part. Some of the dungeon running will filter back into the rest of Idleon, but I will be balancing things so that you don't need to play dungeons all day, every day, in order to progress. You'll need to do dungeons from time to time, just as you need to do any other feature in the game!
Things party dungeons will NOT be:
A way for high-end players to 'boost' low end players. While you will probably get better dungeons runs, your abilities and powers within the dungeon won't be too related to your abilities outside of dungeons. There is some correlation, but in a very healthy way -- I don't want to say too much about it as to not spoil the specifics of the content.
A feature where one 'amazing' player can do 10000x more stuff than a 'bad' player. The better players will surely have a bigger impact than noobies, but the difference won't be catastrophically big. That is to say, if you were in a party of 5, and 4 of you were epic gamers and your 5th member was brand new to the game, they would still make a difference in your run and be an important member!
Something you need to do religiously. I will add in ways so that even if you only have 1 hour a week to play dungeons, you won't get too far behind someone who plays every day at least in terms of the "rest of the game" progression. In other words, the progress Dungeons give to the REST of the game will not require you to play every day. However, playing every day will make you better at dungeon running!
These upgrade thingies will upgrade certain thingies you have equipped while in a dungeon!
Also the 1st of 2 pins has arrived! It will be a part of the Merch Pack Contest I'll be holding in a few weeks!
In dungeons, you'll get to make quick decisions as to whether to equip items you find!
All the info you need to make a good decision will be shown, so you can make a quick choice and get back to fighting!
Also as some of you may notice, there is a SELL option, which means there will indeed be an in-dungeon merchant and cash system within Dungeons! You'll get $ from monsters, selling equips, and a few other sources, which you can spend on various things within the run! Of course, you'll start back at $0 each run!
One small segment of the 'in-dungeon' shop for the Frog Dungeon! There are currently seven purchase options -- the one shown above is just 1 of 7!



Achievements will be a part of the "v1.30 Parties and Dungeons" update!
- You probably know them as "the thing stopping me from completing all the tasks", achievements will reward you with an assortment of things, ranging from new RNG items in Dungeons (making each dungeon run more unique, since there is a wider variety of RNG items you might get), to Menu Screen Backgrounds that will let you see a different scenery every time you open the game (instead of that boring grasslands), as well as a few minor things
- There will be somewhere around 130 achievements, ~50 for each world! (With 1/3rd of those being current Steam achievements)
2nd pins have arrived -- will be a part of the merch bundle contest I'll be holding when Party Dungeons is released in september (thats my current goal in mind)
