New update tomorrow
As you know, I love making cool stuff worthy of hype and hyping it up.
As such, I can't hype everything up as not everything is made equal.
This is a smaller weekly update -- still has new content, but not close to the scale of Sushi Station.
Mentioning this so you know when I do hype things up they're worth it, since I won't do it all the time.
Still way bigger than those "v1.07.342c" updates you see on steam sometimes for games you like, where you click it and its like "fixed 2 typos for the Laotian language translation dialogue option when trying to feed your dog cat food"
I had a dream...
...where I FILLED UP AT LEAST HALF MY COG BOARD WITH TOPAZ COGS
Have you returned the Desert Topaz to the Builder Bird, restoring power to the World 1 Town Portal?

**I gave everyone 555 gems and 5 Event Plays
**
Youll see them when you load into the event for the first time.
In the spirit of hype, excitement, and dedication to the game:
The Major Championship will happen this FRIDAY (along with New Content update)
I will not be taking today off, and will be working hard to get this weekly update out in a timely manner WITH the new content you'd expect, as well as the End of Season Tournament rewards and new Champion pets
Well done, you changed the water!
On second thought... lets change it back...
Are YOU changing the water...?
New update <t:1777055400:R>, streaming through to the Major which is <t:1777060800:R>
#A few final thoughts I need to share with you:
- I've been working on "this" since August 2025, many months before I started teasing it. Weekends, odd hours of the day, all my free time dedicated to this.
- This is separate from new IdleOn content. I must tell you this now so you have proper expectations.
- I will give a full explanation for this countdown thing, and I guarantee you will understand why I did it. It is not just "for the lulz", quite the opposite.
- I suspect a majority of you will want MORE of this in the future, not less, and will be sad to hear that (as of now) this is a one-off thing.
- It is NOT any of these:
Idlemancer, merch drop, sale of IdleOn, Idle Skilling related, new IdleOn content, any IRL personal stuff (I'm not an influencer)
V 1.15 10x button
V 1.2 Retribution (Early Look, leave any suggestions in #438100496050290692 )
V 1.2 RETRIBUTION (Released Planned for Later Today)
A 2nd-tier prestige system? A fighting mode? Idk, but it'll be something
Some cleanup of bonus medal stats I needed to take care of before beginning new content/reworking the Shard Lategame content
Future content page, before its unlocked
undisturbed sprite for Raid Boss #1 of the next content update
A new currency
Note on the blood coins:
I will be giving people bonus blood coins depending on how many shards they have when the new content is out (its not near completion, but it's got a good start. I've made much more progress than I'm letting on)
Note about the above: The summoning shards will NOT be white shards. They will be a different "special" shard, that will be obtained another way.
TBH, im actually a LOT closer than I thought I was with this new update.
I still need to:
Add in damage numbers for Squares' attacks (not too tough)
Fully establish how the boss works (What happens when you run out of time/kill it, how does the game transition)
Draw up another raid boss (I'd like to have 2, and then post the update, and draw in the remaining 2)
- The medal requirement to reach the new content is 52
- Raids are accessed via the "Hell Portal", which appears in lieu of the Dusty Room at medal 52
- Raids can be selected by pressing on their portrait. The second raid is locked until the first is beaten.
- Keys awaken the boss for 10 minutes. They cost 10 white shards each.
- Dealing damage to bosses is ALL idle. These squares attack for you.
- Each square has 3 stats. Strength increases damage.
- Speed increases attack rate.
- Mastery gives a special bonus. Each square fighter has his own unique bonus.
- Earn Blood Money by filling the prestige and kill bonus bars. They give +3/hr and +1/hr for each time you fill the bar, respectively. Also, prestiging at level 52, which DOES prevent you from returning until level 52 again, gives +2/hr.
(NOTE: you earn blood money ALWAYS. If you are not level 52, the devil is STILL tallying up your X/hr, and will give it to you upon arrival! What a nice guy, especially for him being the devil and all...)
- Spend keys in multiples of 1, 5, 10, or 50. Remember. Each key awakens the boss for 10 minutes (so, for example, pressing the silver fist will spend 5 keys, and awaken for 50 minutes)
- That's the boss.... oooooooooooo... scary
- Time left is just the time before you're booted out and given your reward. The HP bar is above that.
- You can leave before summoning the boss, if you change your mind. You can also leave AFTER summoning the boss, if you want to go do other stuff!
TLDR: Get blood from prestige. Each upgrade costs 1 blood. Summon bosses with keys. Fighting the boss gives more blood.
TROPHY COMPETITION IS LIVE
HOW TO PLAY
Find the four secret check-boxes hidden around the game
They can be anywhere-- but you dont have to randomly click
None are completely covered underneath things. That wouldnt be fun or fair
This is what a prize-winning screen looks like
(except the "x"s are coloured in, and theres a congratulations message)
PM ME A PICTURE OF THIS SCREEN. THE FIRST 10 PEOPLE WILL GET A TROPHY ON THE ISLAND FOREVER
(BTW: all 4 secrets are in areas open at level 1. no need to get to hell)
UPDATE
ok i got a LOT of PMs very quickly! I'll make the next contest a bit harder π
I'll sort through them tomorrow when i get back from uni
and assign the top 10 people trophies, based on who PM'd first!
(I dont know for sure if the 20+ pm's all contain winning pictures, so the contest may still be live)
THANK YOU ALL FOR PLAYING!
ANNOUNCEMENT OF BAD NEWS
my computer blew up last night...
well, it short circuited, and started smelling like burning
Unless hard drives like to spontaneously combust, which i dont think they do, my files should still be intact, and i will continue coding when I am able to recover them
I will continue thinking and strategizing about the games direction until then (something i needed to do anyway)
but this does mean I cant hold any contests until I get my files back π¦
not sure what they'll do, but pet orbs may be a VERY rare drop from monsters
I've always liked SUPER rare stuff, so maybe they'll be like 1 in 10,000?
Pet orbs will give small bonuses, and have golden versions when you collect enough of a particular one. There will be a little place like this one where you can check out all the pets you have! FYI FOR ANYONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH #πfuture-content-blog: THIS IS NOT IN THE GAME YET This is just where I post what I've been up to recently, so you know I haven't jumped shit and made away with all the DOZENS of dollars I've made from ad revenue
If anyone has the insatiable urge to draw backgrounds that would fit the theme of a home for collectable pets, send me a pm of it and I'll put the best one into the final product.
Early look at pet screen (The bottom white tab will give info on currently selected pet)
I'd love some suggestions, im not very good at UI as you all know
and outside perspectives are always very helpful
MESSAGE FOR NEW PLAYERS: SCROLL UP FOR 2.0 RAIDS INFO
oh and a quick update to anyone who doesnt know, I've successfully recovered my game files from my exploded PC, and can continue working on the game :]
By the way, just to let you all know I've been dealing with a lot of work revolving around school exams, and will continue to be doing so for quite a while. I have been working on the game here-and-there and am very keen to continue when I can, so I definitely haven't stopped developing.
i completely reworked fighting as to allow for 6 zones which I have also added in, each with like 80 monsters
and am gonna rework other things (like the relic skull upgrade page) to be a skill-tree kinda system instead of just 4 upgrades
WELCOME TO THE FUTURE CONTENT PAGE
Whenever I work on new content, I like to showcase it here so you can know what to expect!
SPIRIT SKILL
The spirit skill will have you collecting souls over time. Spend souls on a variety of workers (kinda like the Atk/Str/End skillers), who will perform a variety of actions. These actions will range from Gold production, to bonus accumulation.
Bonus accumulation will work in the following way:
Every time a worker completes a cycle, he fills up a bar. Once that bar is filled, you get a permanent bonus (but will reset when you ascend), and the bar will be a bit harder to fill up again. They can be upgrade for speed + amount added to the bar every cycle.
What are thooooose?:
These are the currency of the new skill (souls). Once you get enough of a type of soul, it will roll-over and give you a shard of the next soul (or give you 1 complete version of the current soul).
There will be characters that affect how often a soul is converted into a fragment of the next soul, and how often the soul is kept.
(This may sound confusing, but will be very intuitive when you play it)
That looks worse than a middle schooler's English paper rough draft!
It is worse mate! But ignore how rough it is... it gives a good idea of how Spiriting will work.
Cultists: Blue guys on the left, who generate soul fragments (the mini-dots around the Souls).
Acolyte: Green lads on the right, they help convert souls into high forms (they increase % chance for a completed Red soul to turn into 1 Orange Soul fragment, etc)
Spirit will be a harvesting skill, some-what similar to Mining
You can upgrade Cultists and Acolytes for Value (spirit exp) and Speed. Both upgrades will increase the skiller's effectiveness of their designated task. Spirit level will be needed to buy more skillers in this area.
Cultists tasks will be what soul you want them to fulfill. Need a bunch of reds? Put them all on red. Need some yellows as well? Upgrade one enough to unlock the Yellow Soul task, which lets him generate yellow souls directly! (Candle's will change colour to what task you selected)
Tasks are what soul a cultist generates, and will be unlocked... uh... somehow. Either by that cultist's specific total upgrade level, or by your Spirit level
Acolytes help you get better souls. When a Cultist generates enough soul fragments of a soul, it is converted to 1 complete soul (number owned shown below). Acolytes will better your chances for that conversion to instead be into 1 soul fragment of the next type. Also, they may have the ability to transfer excess completed souls.
Also, just an fyi, there are SO many things that need to be done before any new content. Definitely not gonna be getting this out tomorrow, not even close :\
I've got a great foundation, already completely finished the Spiriting skill, and I have a solid idea for what the Rune and Taskmaster skill will do, but I still need a lot of time to piece the game together, make the art, and code
So for those of you who read this, here is what will be in the next content update
- Spiriting skill (Harvesting Souls) DONE
- Rune Summoning skill (Spending Souls) have general idea, figuring out the specifics
- A 4th skilltree tab (another 10 upgradeable skills, itll be blue) wont take long, itll work just like other skilltrees
- New Ascention perks huh, not sure how this one will work, or what new bonuses to add
So still a bit to do, but I'll get there eventually
Spent all day on the offline calculations for Spiriting skill... there are so many things I had to factor in when making the calculations!
I'll be making a full post in the #new-updatesβ in a week or so when i finish Rune Summoning, the new skill tree, and whatever else I need for the update
SUMMONING SKILL
The summoning skill is where you will spend your Souls! For an analogy, consider summoning to be the "smithing" of the new skills
However, instead of crafting items, you instead Summon portals!
Here's how portals work. Just like any other skiller, they will be upgraded for Value and Speed
However, when they complete a repetition (or cycle, whatever you want to call it), that portal will gain its own exp, specific to that portal
This means each portal has its own level. When portals level up, their bonuses increase!
For example, lets look at the Gold Coin Portal, which will give gold based on the monster you are fighting (Finally! A good gold source that you dont have to be on the fight screen for!)
At level 1, it will give 1% of a monster's gold value every repetition, as well as +1 "Gold Coin Portal EXP"
When the coin portal gets enough exp, it levels up!
At level 2, it will give 2% of a monster's gold value every repetition , but youll need more "Gold Coin Portal EXP" to level it up to level 3.
Oh, and the Mining portal will increase mining exp π since I figured you mining noobs out there could use a hand
Since so many of you wanted extra cash sources, I made sure to make the Gold Coin Rift the FIRST rift you unlock, and it also scales with your fighting (gives a % based on the rift's level), so it will never be obsolete!!
I think things are as balanced as I'll get them...
I predict a release for v1.2 on both mobile and web on Thursday or Friday
I reckon ~80% chance for one of those days

Gonna up it to like 90% chance for v1.2 to be out on thursday or friday. I'm pretty happy with how things are.
Ok update is in good standing
I'm going to be spending this week working on QoL fixes, starting with an indication of how close the next keymaster is!
Here is my list of fixes I have planned:
Keymaster Indicator
Auto-progression through monsters (in some way)
Toggle which skills you want auto-cast to use
Thanksgiving event (not a fix, but still wanted to mention it here)
Skills will fully reset when entering a raid
Isn't it great getting to toggle what skills autocast uses? Haha yea this is the best upda----oh wait, you guys dont HAVE that update yet huh, its only in my test version π
Keymaster Indicator and AUTOCAST TOGGLING will be out on web tomorrow
Posting update in ~1.5 hours! I've tested it pretty extensively, and finally have it fully working.
Heres what the next patch will bring:
Keymaster Indicator
Autocast Toggling
Vault puts you in the right place
Skills auto-reset every time you start a raid
Fighting will now give away-time when you arent active on it just like every other screen
Was going to update it right now
but I have school for 6 hours, and if something goes wrong I wouldn't be able to fix it
expect it up in like 7 hours or so π
Some sort of Free Candy coupon, perhaps an event reward or a rare Raid Boss drop?
Would give you 1 roll of the candy drop table -- which means you could get the 72 hour candy! (Instead of last event, where you only got the 2-hour candy)
IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BUY RAID TICKETS, DO IT NOW
Raid ticket Gem purchase is going to be temporarily discontinued for a few weeks
Still working on cards, each monster will have its own unique bonus, and you will be able to equip your own custom set of cards
You can equip any combination of cards you want too, so theres a LOT of different choices and combinations
For example, strawby may give +2% monster gold because its only level 1 card
Cacto +4% base damage
King Tier 1 may give +15% total damage
CARDS WILL BE MUCH MORE COMMON
they will probably be anywhere from 1 in 100, to 1 in 1000 depending on the zone
and Raid boss cards will be like 1 in 20, to 1 in 100 depending on the boss and tier (yes, each ticket difficulty has its own card!)
*Please Leave any suggestions for card bonuses in #511292561109942312 !
I'm in the middle of my two midterms, so I can't post pictures, but here is a general idea of how cards will work
Every monster can drop a card. These cards give bonuses, like +1% monster cash, +5% damage, +3% ores mined etc
When you pick up a card, you add it to your collection and can equip it (it is tier one, which is gray coloured)
if you pick up another of the same card, you instead get 1 "gray duplicate"
You use gray duplicates to upgrade your gray Tier 1 cards ---> green tier 2 cards (Yes, this means a duplicate mushroom would give you the same "gray duplicate" as a duplicate keymaster)
you can also convert gray duplicates into green duplicates.... although im not sure about the rate, maybe 5 gray duplicates --> 1 green duplicate?
You then use green duplicates to upgrade your green cards into Tier 3 Blue cards
I'll be posting a bit more later today when I have more time to put in pictures and think out the specifics of the system a bit more
But doesnt that mean ill just be grinding mushroom for tones of gray duplicates?
I'm going to be putting some sort of cap on it. Maybe 50 cards a day from each zone?
I'll also put some sort of incentive for higher zones. Maybe higher zones have a chance of dropping Green / blue duplicates?
Numbers at top Amount of duplicate cards you have. After getting a monster card, that monster will now drop duplicates (gray number), with a small chance of dropping green, blue, purple and even a 1 in 50,000 chance of an orange duplicate!
Upgrading Every card you pick up starts at Gray tier (Tier 1). In order to level it up, you need to use a combination of "duplicates".
Duplicates Because the game doesn't keep track where you get duplicates from, you may think that you'll just farm lv1 mushrooms over and over again. Not true. Each zone has its own Duplicates/day limit, so youll need to move on to the Desert/Mountains/Mist/Dungeon if you want the maximum amount of duplicates per day. Also, higher level monsters within a zone will have a higher chance to drop Green/Blue/Purple/Orange duplicates instead of the normal Gray duplicates
Ok I just put in the code, so please feel free to spread this info around when cards come out:
Each zone will have a +20% chance of rarer duplicates
this means that, if you are grinding for cards in the mountains, youre +40% more likely to get a Blue Duplicate (instead of a gray) than you would be in the grasslands
I wont delete these just incase someone wants to look at them in the future
INFO ABOUT CARDS
Every monster in the game has the chance to drop its own unique, equippable card. This means every monster in all 5 zones, all raid bosses and each of their difficulties, as well as all future monsters!
All cards dropped from monsters will be at Tier 1
For example, I was able to get this Wormie card from defeating wormies!
Right now, I'm trying to upgrade it to Tier 2, but youll notice it has a Cost of 3 gray stars and 1 Green star
Stars are essentially duplicates -- if i go back and hunt more wormies, instead of dropping monster cards, theyll drop duplicate cards
When a duplicate card drops, it has a small chance to be a higher tier --- who knows, maybe youll hit the jackpot and get an orange duplicate on your first try!
Also, as to not make it all RNG, youll see there is a SWAP option. With this, you can swap multiple low-tier duplicates for 1 higher-tier duplicate
Back to my wormie example, lets say I really wanted to upgrade him.
I would go back and fight wormies until i either get [ 3 Gray duplicates & 1 green duplicate ], or [ 8 gray duplicates, and trade 5 in for 1 green ]
Duplicates, and regular cards, have a % chance to be auto-collected
However, duplicates specifically have a daily limit per zone
ONLY DUPLICATES count toward this limit. You could (in theory) pick up all 120+ cards on the first day, since monster cards do not count to this limit
Voting for next update: VOTES OVER
New Raid Bosses
Contracting Skill (red scroll skill in Limbo), which is a quest system
Yes Cloud save takes precedent, but I need to work on stuff in between contacting people about cloudsave
There are going to be 5 different tiers of contracts, with each tier containing 6 or 12 (some amount) of quests
CONTRACTS will be unique missions, often requiring you to Ascend in order to begin them ok not often probably, but some of them will
Kill the King Raid without leveling up Endurance (beyond whatever starting level you have)
Mine Dubloonium within 10 minutes of ascending
Deal 1,000,000 damage in 1 hit
Each one will unlock a new ascention perk to upgrade
So maybe a Mining Contract will give you an ascention perk that lets you further select what type of fish you catch (like min-maxing your % chances so that you can get 100% of large fish)
point is, you'll get rewarded in one facet of the game, for being very good at a different facet of the game
__
The premise I'm trying to get at with contracts
Is each time you ascend, you will get to choose some Mission to undertake, like Killing the King without leveling up Endurance
and doing so will give you a new type of bonus to upgrade the next time you ascend
and after doing that, youll get to choose a different contract to understand
etc etc
Contracts will be free-form though, so you dont have to lock yourself into one
you can complete them as you like
each contract will have 4 things to do, and some will have unique rewards. I think ill have those little merit-currency items be used in a shop somewhere, still not sure (they will also be used for Rifts)
Quick Vote: Would you like me to make smithing be TAP TO SELECT item instead of drag to select item?
Some of the new Ascention Perks -- they're gonna be smaller pictures, so that I can fit more on the screen. Also, I felt like the old ones were unnecessarily large and their size didnt really fit the game
Of course the old ones will still be there haha, and YOULL KEEP ALL OF YOUR LEVELS AND EVERYTHING. Only the UI will change, and there is a 0% chance of losing your levels since I use the exact same variables and everything π
Starting levels on Crafting items perhaps
Might be a bit... underwhelming for Infinity Forge owners
Free daily candy coupon perhaps
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT CONTRACTS
There will be multiple "stages" to each contract, so while there are only 24 quests, there will be 240 unique Stages. Each stage will have a reward.
Contracts are permanent. Once you complete it, you'll never get to complete it again. Also, the shop will take "Merits", the little awards you get for completing.
This means there is only a specific amount of merits you can get. Ever. And considering the nature of the game, you WONT be able to refund them, so this may seem like an alarming precedent
However, what I am going to do is count up all the merits that you can get, and price everything so that, if you complete every quest and every Stage, you can buy ever Merit Item in the game.
This follows the basis of my game, and how I am trying to make people have to think and choose what they want to do, instead of blindly buying the next purchase
However, it also follows what you have all taught me about games, in that it wont be punishing (like how my game only let you progress in 1 zone when it was released. Damn that was awful). This is why I will specifically make it so you CAN buy every item, as long as you gather all the merits
Ok guys, further update! I am almost done... coding for tonight. But at this point i can say im almost done! I have finished 4 of the 6 Contracts (each contract has 4 Quests, each quest has 10 Stages. So 240 stages, I've coded 160).
Here is a list of what I have done/need to do (My prediction for release as of now is this weekend. Its just a prediction, but I have a lot of reason why I need to finish it this weekend)
Finish Skill Tree
Contracts 1 and 2 and 3 and 4
Contract 5
and 6
Second Half of the Blue Skilltree
------------- 16 NEW ascention perks
(yes, 16, ascending is now more than twice as big)
CONTRACT SHOPS: ----- 1
--------- 2
---------- 3
RIFT 7 WILL NOT BE FUNCTIONAL THIS UPDATE ------ rifts 8 and 9 will be in the game though
Hey everyone! Hope you all like the new update!
Just wanted to get some feedback about changing phone icons... please vote on the one you like!
= red one (left)
= yellow one (right)
Just hotfixed a few Contracts:
"Own X white souls" No longer gets easier from SSS --> SSSS++. It now gets harder, as it should
Two Regal contracts had duplicate finishing jokes, now they have their own
Monster Slayer 10 had an overflow error, now it doesnt
Monster Mayhem 10 now correctly checks your Holy Relic 3 killcount
Would you prefer me to make the menu buttons ALWAYS on? Would this make the game less confusing and more navigable?
By the way, I havent forgotten about the smithing tap-to-select -- that will be one of the first things I do next
by the way for those of you who dont know, this coming weeks is finals week for me
which means i wont really have any time for the game
however, following this, is a THREE WEEK break for me
meaning i should get 2 - 3 major updates within that period alone
so please dont think im abandoning if you dont see me around this week
Please Emote with the farthest Fighting Zone you've ever reached, will help me gauge where Conquests need to be in terms of difficulty / reward power
Green - Grasslands
Yellow - Desert
Blue - Mountains
Red - Mist
Purple - Dungeon
Lava L - you've beaten the whole game
farthest means the farthest place you've ever reached. So if you have reached Flakey 1, you would emote "Blue" for mountains
Also, thanksgiving is gonna get extended on PC until after my tests, which end exactly 4 days from this message.
still busy with finals
Last two tests are tomorrow morning. My current plan is to spend tomorrow ending Thanksgiving and fixing bugs, then fixing bugs some more on friday and working on christmas event, which will be a bit different so youll probably see that saturday/sunday.
PSA to anyone who is using firefox, and is having trouble getting the game to save:
Having Trouble with saves on Firefox? Open a new tab, and type "About:config" into the url. Then click Accept Risk, press ctrl and F together and search for dom.ipc.plugins.sandbox-level.flash. Right click and edit value to 0. Close firefox, and reopen. Now it's fixed!
Firefox seems to have changed settings to automatically disable saving, this simply reverts those changes.
you know what that means when i start posting update boards π
...
and if you don't, it means update is really close haha
Also coming to mobile today!
Hi everyone, crusades are going great, but I wanted to drop in to get a quick vote...
For those that havent heard, crusades disables idle attacks, meaning you need to use your attack moves -- like claw, meteor, smite, etc
As a result, whether-or-not you have the new attack moves is VERY important, and I need to balance how easy/hard it is to get them
So here is the vote:
VOTE:
if you have both unlocked
VOTE:
if you have one of them unlocked
VOTE:
if you have neither unlocked
Hi everyone, I could use some help with another Poll
Please React with the highest amount of damage in your damage range -- so the best damage you've had on any ascention, not just your current one
π = Less than 100k
π = 100k to 10m
π = 10m to 1b
π = 1b to 100b
π = 100b to 100t
= 100t or more
A few more polls for crusade balancing, the last one really helped, but I need more numbers:
Please React with the ratio of your highest damage to your highest hp -- For example, the picture would react with 10 - 25, because the damage is ~15x higher than HP
π = Damage is 1x ~ 3x higher than HP
π = Damage is 3x ~ 10x higher than HP
π = Damage is 10x ~ 50x higher than HP
π = Damage is 50x ~ 200x higher than HP
π = Damage is 200x ~ 1000x higher than HP
= Damage is more than 1000x higher than HP
Everything you see on the screen is functional!!!
Now literally everything (for crusade boss fighting) is in place
Health, damage, attack speed, material drops, drop chances, drop amounts, collecting drops, its all there
Poll 3
VOTE HERE ^ Im adding in ~50 new upgradeable and equipable items for the Tinkering skill
If you would like to see all 50 in the higher detail (right side), and as a result have the UPDATE BE A DAY OR SO DELAYED, vote βΆ
If you would rather see all 50 in the lower detail (left side), and as a result have the UPDATE BE A DAY OR SO EARLIER, vote β
Vote Below the picture please
I have decided to go with the higher definition images. You will be making, upgrading, and equipping these -- so youll be seeing them a LOT. So it only makes sense they should look good!
Poll 4 - gameplay and adventure
What do you enjoy about this game? Answer each one with a
if you love that aspect
if you like it
if you dont like it.
Seeing numbers go up
(For example, leveling up all your items to 20, or seeing your damage go from 10m to 200b)
Unlocking things in the game
(For example, lvling up smithing to find out what items can be crafted at level 40 smithing, or killing the Defiled King raid boss so that you can see what the next raid boss is like)
Finally, which one do you preferr?
1β£ Numbers go up
2β£ unlocking and discovering
For those curious, there are many ways which which I can take crusades, and these answers will shape what is SUCH A MONSTER of an update, that the next version will be called v2.0
Hey just a random poll since I don't need any info for crusades right now. Crusades isn't far off. Most of the framework is in place, and now I just need to plug in art and numbers
Have you hit the Gem Jackpot yet?
= More than 1 time |
= only 1 time |
= 0 times
π Also merry Christmas! haha hope you had a nice day! π
Hi everyone! I've been plugging away at crusades all day for quite a while, and I could use one last vote! Maybe last, idk
As you can see above, there is a Crafting system (Right side), which requires Resources (left side)
One thing you need to know about the crafting system is: In order to craft High Level Equipment, you need Lots of Lower Level Equipment
In other words, Low Level Equipment is a crafting ingredient for High Level Equipment
Would you rather:
Get lots of resources from crusades, and have High Level equipment cost lots of low level equipments, which means youll be crafting lots of equipments
Get not so much resources from crusades, and High Level equipment costs very few low level equipments, meaning you wont be crafting that much
IMPORTANT INFO
There is a craft x25 button, and a Craft Max button. So dont worry about having to click a lot. YOU WONT HAVE TO
It is very easy to navigate the crafting screen. clicking on an equipment cost will take you to THAT equipment, making crafting the different equipment easy to do
Hey guys, its me, lavaCrusade2 coming at you with a brief summary about where we are at with Crusades..
Artwork ----------: 100% done.................................
Code ---------------: 95% done................................ I've added in the last system. Now I just gotta play through the systems and double check for bugs
Balancing --------- : 85% Done.............................. I've put in all the numbers, played around with it for a few days now, and I'm starting to feel very happy with it.
Estimated Release Date: January 5th-6th
CRUSADES ARE LIVE!!! v2.0 WOOOOOOO
I want to thank everyone for helping me during the development, and I would love to keep having your input on the future of this game!
My plans for the next month or so, is to put out weekly mini content updates.
Vote on which content you would like to see! I will develop them in the order they are voted!
A - Smithing Tiers 9 and 10. This would include 16 new Smith-able items, as well as new Ores (and maybe new fish) needed to be gathered to make them!
B - New Perk Tree. This would include upgradeable super-moves, similar to banana bonk, as well as some crusade-specific passive perks. I've got some neat ideas for super moves.
C - New Zone. I've got an amazing Idea for this, however I don't exactly now how the rewards would work. The new zone will involve a "bloodletting ritual", wherein you permanently lose 99% of your damage in order to gain permanent access to this new best area, wherein monsters will drop platinum instead of cash.
D - Woodcutting. Would be a system not unlike mining, where you buy "choppers" who swing at trees instead of ores. Not sure what it would do yet. Vote for this one if you want to see more Skillers and new areas
E - Raids 2. The Raid theatre has a hidden passage way that leads into a long-abandoned insane asylum filled with terrifyingly difficult foes. Would function very much like current raids, but with a different currency and new upgrades. Oh... and did I mention it would also be maddeningly difficult? I did? Oh you're right
Once Mobile crusades is released, I will see which of the above won
Scoring will work likes so.
Means +1 point for that option,
means -1 point for that option, and
means +0 points.
So vote
on what you like, and also vote
on ones you dont!
MOBILE IS OUT!
And as i promised, it is time to decide on what is the next content.
Smithing Tiers 9 and 10 = 128
New Perk Tree = 179
New Zone = 42
Woodcutting = 110
Raids 2 = 199
I am electing to do NEW PERK TREE this week, because I need a break from large scale updates and bosses. This will bring with it passive crusade/tinkering perks, as well as the Super Moves to accompany Banana Bonk and Shoulder Tap!
(Yes, im fully aware Raids 2 won, which Im glad it did because I personally love raids. However, that one will take me a while to do, and I want to try a small update to offset the absolute exhaustion Crusades put me in haha. I will more than likely be doing Raids 2 after this new perk tree)
Alright well I got the perk tree out
I was originally going to do raids 2
however I really feel like the game needs another Idle System (like mining), rather than a more Active one (Raids 2)
As a result, I am putting off Raids 2 in favor of woodcutting (or some gathering skill), because I am starting to formulate a thorough system for that
In very simple terms...
see how each button below kind of corresponds to the one above?
This new system will essentially be the new "Craft" system
wherein you gather materials
And then use them to make stuff to help with damage/other things
except it will rely solely on buying skillers (woodcutters and farmers), then using those to make potions (which will have permanent, small affects)
So here is my plan for now:
The Card Decks are completed, and I am currently wrapping up the next Event
I will be posting these friday/saturday on PC
then saturday/sunday on Mobile
Wait for it... I hit the Bonus Wheel (Yellow sliver) on the 3rd spin!!
Better Graphics on Gym Skillers & Stylized Font
In-depth Stats available on the fight screen
POLL 1 -- PLEASE VOTE
What is the most cash you have had at once in the game?
π = 10M
π = 10B
π = 10T
π = 10Q
π = 1,000Q
= 999,999Q (Max Cash) pretty much all the time
POLL 2 -- PLEASE VOTE
Each plot of land will unlock PERKS as you level it up
- Would you rather these perks be VERY STRONG, but you only get to choose a few at a time?* (Toggle-able ACTIVE bonuses)
or
- Would you rather these perks be WEAK, but are always on? -- (PASSIVE BONUSES)
thank you everyone for voting!!!
I decided to go with a passive system, with a tiny bit of a toggleable system to allow for some more strategic play
New update either later today or tomorrow (android only):
"Gem Restore" feature. All purchases are "remembered" across all devices, and even if you uninstall/re-install the game
Crash fixes, namely crusade related!
TILLING IS DONE!!
Tilling will feature 8 plots of land, 20 different crops, Value/Speed upgrades, plot ranks, 14 different perks (which affect all farmers), and not much else!
Farming will be the "fishing" equivalent of the new skills
(Where Tilling is the "mining" equivalent)
and will involve growing, and harvesting, plants
Whenever you successfully harvest a plant, you get it's seeds, which can be replanted for more seeds
Also, you'll have a small chance to get a seed of a different plant type
Growing that one will give you more seeds of that type, and also a small chance for a different seed too
There will be 24 different plant types
Just like in Tilling, where you can upgrade your plots of land
you will be able to upgrade and switch between different plant pot types
not sure what that'll do but hey ill think of something π€
So that does beg the question of, what is Apothecary? (The "smithing" equivalent of the new skills)
Using your 20 different crops, and 24 different plants, you will make potions
You can combine 1 crop with 1 plant, and based on your combination, you will create a potion. The amount of each you use will determine the "quality" of the potion (basically whether it gives +1% or +5% kinda thing)
Right now I am looking to have ~100 different potions, as they will be very Varying in what they do
+5% speed for Gym Skillers
+2% value for Mountain Skillers
+1% ores for Miners 1 and 2
But lava, how do these potions work?? And will one of the potions be a Cloud Save potion?
After combining your crops and plants, you will have to wait X minutes/hours for it to complete. This X will be based on how good the potion is, and will be reduced with different types of upgrades
Also, there will be multiple Cauldrons to make potions with, so you can have many "brewing" at a time
Anyway
Once a potion is made, it is automatically used.
Potions are permanent within a playthrough -- they are NOT temporary buffs... However, they will be reset upon ascention, although perhaps some potions that are extra strong will persist.
Much of the fun of this update will be micro-managing your Tilling Plots (not actively though, since perks are passive)
Growing plants and getting new seeds
and discovering what potions can be made, with which ingredients they are made with, and what qualities can be discovered
IF YOU DONT WANT TO SEE FARMING, DONT CLICK THE PIC
Growing some early game plants. You can use Dirt & the Previous Plant Type (supplements) to boost the plant you are about to grow.
Each time you harvest, there is a small % chance to gain the plant of the next tier up.
This % chance is boosted by the Supplements you use, as well as some other bonuses from other things
Tilling
[X] 6 Plots of land, each with farmers (5 different types) who have Value/Speed upgrades, and each with 14 different perks gotten by leveling up the plot of land using Dirt
[X] 20 different crops, used for making potions (just like ore is used to make Smithing Items)
[X] Offline / away / Candy integration
Apothecary
[ ] 120 different potions, automatically used when created
[ ] 6 different cauldrons, which can be upgraded to increase Brewing speed
[ ] Offline / away / Candy integration
Farming
[X] 14 different Pots, each with 6 perks, earned by level up the pots (passive, exp is earned from simply using the pot to grow things)
[X] 24 different plants
[X] Growth Supplements (using Dirt and other Plants to BOOST your growing)
[ ] Offline / away / candy integration
Also, I'm really doing my best to make this update very QoL filled. For example, you can click on Crop Sprites to assign ALL eligible farmers to farm that crop, and Farming Plants remembers your supplement amounts, so if you plant Weeds with 105K Dirt, then harvest it a few hours later, you can simple press "Grow" again without having to manually assign 105K dirt again
POLL -- PLEASE VOTE
Would you rather the cauldrons animations:
have a stirring stick (LEFT)
not have a stirring stick (RIGHT)
Would you like the bubble colours to change depending on what kind of potion you are making?
Some potions for apothecary... I'm still trying to arrive on exactly how I want potion making to actually work
Also, for those hardcore players out there who are experiencing late-game issues, heres what I have fixed in my code (not out yet)
Cash capping (The game will track your coins WAY past 9,999QQ
Cost capping (Upgrades will now show the cost WAY beyond 999Q) -- applies to ALL skillers, miners, fishing power, and new skiller upgrades
Cost overflow for ascention perks
Smithing EXP bug -- you will gain 0 exp after lv 120
Smithing cost bug -- things wont randomly be "1b" anymore! About time lava, you buffoon
POLL -- Please vote!
Would you like to see Cards centered around Tilling/Farming/Apothecary?
(*These would be earned at a VERY rare chance, 1 in 1,000,000 per skiller cycle/harvested plant/potion created. They would probably give +% stats for those skills, and would be the first cards Not centered around a monster)
Note: Progress in new skills will not be balanced around these cards. They will be more like trophies, although will give decent stats for people want to hardcore the new skills
Prior to today, plants had a set growth time. Once that was reached, the plant stopped growing and would sit there doing nothing until you harvested it.
This meant if you planted something to grow in 7 hours, then came back in 12 hours, you completely wasted 5 hours.
NOW plants "Overgrow" for as long as you let them. Once a plant fully grows, it will get bonus value the longer you let it grow for.
This is shown in the blue. I've overgrown this Typha 2 times (requires 25x as much growth time), giving me various bonuses shown in the small blue numbers on the left
POLL -- Please Vote!
Apothecary will have 95 different potions. I want to make them as unique as possible, but I'm not too sure exactly how unique/complicated I can make them.
Please vote with the following reactions based on your understanding of the proposed Bonus
= I completely understand.
= I'm pretty sure that I get it.
= I'm might get it, but I'm not sure.
= Mate I haven't got a clue what that does
+1% Crystalline Ripper effectiveness for every Imbued Scimitar Level
+50% ores gained for miner 1 and 2
- Smithing Cost Increase Per Level reduced by 1% (this would be a VERY high leveled item, so take that into consideration before voting)
NEW Gives H20 points at a rate equal to 35% of the points earned by Skillers
Do you understand the difference between -1% Smithing Upgrade Cost Scaling, and -1% Smithing Upgrade Total Cost?
BONUS vote<<
Those crystals next to the cauldron are toggleable. You'll get to choose them depending on what you want (higher chance to double leveling up your potions, cheaper ingredients, faster brewing) -------------------------------------
Lava, that too much. Make it an unlockable feature through ascending in the new GREEN ascending screen -- but dont just throw it on us all at once
That's epic, I want it IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE as soon as I unlock apothecary!
Eh, I'm not a fan of toggle stuff. Just leave it out. Or, maybe add it in a later update. Point is, I'm not so crazy about the idea
2 of the 95 potions that can be upgraded!
Potions will work exactly like Smithing items -- that is, they are permanent upgrades that ALL work at the same time, and are not consumed
Idle Skilling Roadmap
- v2.20 -- FARMING
Tilling skill ------------ Buy up to 8 plots of land. Each has Value/Speed Upgrades. They Rank Up over time, unlocking 14 different perks. Harvest 20 different crops. (Similar to mining)
Planting Skill --------- Buy up to 14 flower pots, each one has Value/Speed Upgrades, as well as Ranking Up + 6 different perks. Plant 24 different flowers. (Not similar to any current skill)
Apothecary Skill ------ Buy up to 6 Cauldrons, used to Brew Potions. Works like Smithing, except cauldrons use up resources over time to gradually upgrade potion (just like a stove uses gas to sustain a flame). Potions are not consumables. They function just like smithing items do -- their bonuses are permanent and all work at the same time.
ESTIMATED RELEASED DATE -- Feb. 24th
v2.21 -- YELLOW PERK TREE
8 different normal perks. They will be farming related. I also am thinking of making the Big Perks (they cost 10, and are at the top -- white bordered ones) Infinitely buyable.
ESTIMATED RELEASED DATE -- March 3rd
**v2.25 -- FIGHT ZONE 6 **
Some cranky old guy told me that autoprogress stops working after glitch 72 in the grasslands... but you can still progress after manually. I wonder what horrid creatures awaits you at the end?
Also, totally unrelated to that, I've seen this weird demon portal phasing in-and-out of existence in the portal area. I'm sure it'll eventually fully materialize into a permanent portal, but we will have to wait and see. If I had to guess, it probably leads to a new fighting zone with crazy hard monsters! But that's just a guess...
ESTIMATED RELEASED DATE -- March 10th
v2.28 -- Smithing Tiers 9 and 10
New stuff to upgrade. Will help Damage, Hp, offline gains, crusades, cyber food, farming -- you name it! May (or may not) come with new mining ores and new fish, which will be needed to upgrade the new items
ESTIMATED RELEASED DATE -- March 17th
Inventory system, so you can very easily check what ingredients you have without having to switch screen! Will also have tabs of all 95 potions, so you can see which ones you have, and what level they are without hassle!
I will also be changing smithing cost display --- So instead of just COST: XXXX, it'll say COST: XXXX / YYYY, where Y = amount YOU have!
Just gotta add potion bonuses (all 95 of them π but shouldnt be too tough), then balance some things, and the update will be live!
I really believe I'll make that Feb 24th date that I've set! I'd wager 1,000
's on it!
I've got my 95 potion effects down! Just gotta toss them in and balance the whole thing and we will be good to go!
Place your bets on whether you think the update will be out by Feb 24th! (just as a meme, I'm not going to rush the update if it's not done by then)
I'm still making great progress. I've assigned a full list of all the bonuses (the above chart were just bonus Types, I now have the specific numbers), and I've put all the descriptions in the game.
But I am here to ask u a quick question!
And I'll post it as soon as the game compiles and i can get a screenshot
POLL -- please vote!
I am adding in an offline stat tab to fighting. It will show your projected Offline Gains, so that you know what to expect when leaving.
What time interval would you like it to show?
I want it to give me Kill / Cash per MINUTE
I want it to give me Kill / Cash per HOUR (As shown in the above pic)
I want it to give me Kill / Cash per DAY
Also, here is a Teaser as a reward for voting!
Haha great strategy 279 of you π
Voting for the option that I've already coded ---> I dont have to spend time recoding it ---> faster Farming release
Well well well
everything is coded
and ive got the whole weekend to balance and bug test
I think by sunday night (~48 hours from this post) I'll have it out on PC
and for those not in the loop about this, I always update the PC version first because it is 100x easier to update/fix things on the fly
So I always let it run on PC for 1-2 days, get feedback on any major bugs, then ship to Mobile
β΅
Just a warning for the few who this may affect
Boosters and Mutators (crusade items) will be >> leaving << the gem shop, most likely permanently
You'll still be able to keep/use the boosters/mutators you currently own
But once farming comes out, you will no longer be able to buy more with gems.
Hi everyone, now that the update is finally out, I can get to thinking about what is next!
As some of you may know, I have ZONE 6 planned for the next update, and have already started work on the art!
Look, heres a delightful little guy youll be facing in the new zone!
Anyway, enough of the foreplay, I have a POLL that'll help shape how the new fighting areas work!
POLL -- please vote!
React to each the following game features based on how much you like them!
= Thats your favorite feature ONLY USE THIS ONLY ONCE
= You like that feature
= You don't like it, but dont hate it
= You have no interest in that feature
Buying and upgrading Skillers -- The guys that lift weights, push boulders, etc.
Fighting monsters -- where you progress down a path of monsters by reaching the Kill Requirement
Resource collecting -- Mining/Fishing/Smithing, and Tilling/Farming/Apothecary, where you collect resources and craft perm upgrades
Crusades -- where there are fights that scale in difficulty forever
Raids -- where there are set fights against unique bosses (complete with a gift shop)
Cards -- where you collect things to add to a collection, and upgrade them (only a few times) for bonuses
Secrets -- where there are hidden areas that are mysterious and make you go π
Contracts/quests -- where you have set tasks to accomplish, and get rewarded for doing so
Perks Trees -- where you spend points to upgrade bonuses
Hey everyone, I'm happy to see that the farming update has been well received -- I really tried to go back to what I thought made for a fun experience, and I'm glad to see that many of you agree!
Anyway, I'm here for a poll, to see how I need to shape the new zones!
POLL -- please vote!
What is your max damage? i.e. Most damage you have hit in 1 IDLE attack after farming release
π = Less than 999m
π = 1b to 999b
π = 1t to 999t
π = 1Q to 999Q
π = 1QQ to 999,999QQ
π = Crystal Damage (any amount)
Crystal damage is Blue/White. If you don't know what that means, you probably dont have crystal damage haha
New update (zones 6 & 7) is gonna drop soon, probably sometime this week.
I think the order of new content after is will go in the following order:
Yellow perk tree -- focuses on all things farming
Smithing expac -- adds new ores, and 16 new smithing items
Ascention 2 -- (im not actually sure if this will "ascend" the game in the same way that Ascention 1 does, since I feel like, with farming, it would be too demotivating to lose progress on flowers) but this will feature "BP" (instead of AP), and will basically be a new set of ascention perks
Raids 2 -- New bosses, New "gift shop". My current thoughts on entry tickets are that, in addition to daily "Raids 2 tickets", youll be able to convert Raid 1 tickets into raid 2 tickets (however the more you convert within a single day, the worse the conversion rate gets)
New update will feature 44 new monsters -- 22 in zone 6, and also 22 in zone 7
They'll all drop cards, but wont have any bonuses (Instead of rushing out bonuses and having them be lame/boring, I'm gonna take my time and make them interesting)
However, they will be collectible upon release, and once bonuses are added in you WILL keep the cards hooray
Also will feature 52 farming cards -- one for every crop, flower, and potion colour. These will have bonuses that all help with farming progression and remember, I am going to make them VERY VERY rare
I'll also post a full change-list of bug fixes too when its out
I'm tentative to set a release date... but lets shoot for March 9th on PC, and March 10th on Mobile!
Feels so much better -- Perk tree now follows your swipe, making it much easier to navigate!
π Also gonna be putting in the yellow perk tree soon too!
SPOILER: The 10 perks that will come with Yellow Perk Tree!
Will require reaching the mist to unlock this perk tree
Poll please vote!
Although I have irl exams right now, I'm writing up some notes for when I am finally done so that I can get right back into coding.
How do you feel about H20 -- the water level that is at the bottom of most screens.
-- I would be interested in more H20 related bonuses, something to incentivize leveling it up as much as I can
-- I don't feel strongly about H20. I would maybe care if there were extra bonuses for high H20 levels, but I'm not crazy about it
-- I have no interest in H20. If you put in bonuses for high H20 level, I really wouldn't bother with it since the system doesn't interest me at all
FOR REFERENCE I am thinking of making more H20-based perks that will involve H20 lv 100+
Also, I am gonna add in some infographics to show what you do/dont lose on ascending!
Thanks for the votes in the above poll! Because of the
votes, I will be including a slightly different form of H20 perks in Ascention 2. However, because of the
votes, they will not be the first perks, but instead minor perks unlocked later on
Also, some of you may be wondering, Lava where is yellow perk tree :[
I have actually finished it, and just need to plug in some numbers -- however, I have IRL stuff that will be 100% occupying my time for the next week
Hence, it wont be out for ~1 week
So sit tight until then
One more test then I'm done wooo
Considering that I have big plans for ascention 2
I think I am going to release yellow perk tree to the LIVE version, then work on ascention 2 (instead of waiting to finish ascention 2 before putting out yellow perk tree)
Although, 1 perk in the yellow perk tree will be useless (The Gem one) until ascention 2 comes out
so apologies for that!
Ascention 2 will feature things like... more Smithing items, more contracts, more contract shops, more mining ores, and maybe more fish (in the form of upgradeable perks)
And of course, other ascention-like perks!
Soon Change of plans. I'm really motivated rn and dont want to risk losing that by taking a whole day to babysit an update. Sorry to those who were expecting the yellow perk tree really soon. Instead, youll get it in a few days plus a BUNCH of more stuff!
Heres what I plan to have in by... hmm... early-mid next week
Yellow Perk Tree -------------------------------------- 95% done
Ascention 2 -------------------------------------------- 30% done
Smithing/Mining expansion -------------------------- 4% done

Heres a full list of things reset when doing Asention 2
Also to anyone reading this: have you been here a long time? Would you like a promotion? Go to #555227995246166038 and let me know!
POLL -- Please vote!
As you can see above, I intend to make Ascention 2 be locked behind PURGATORY
- Have you unlocked purgatory? (unlocked by completing the dungeon)
- Would you prefer to see ascention 2 locked behind reaching the dungeon?
- Would you prefer to see ascention 2 locked behind reaching the mist?
Please vote on vote 2 and vote 3 regardless of your vote on 1.
(For those curious, I'm asking because I dont really know how hard reaching purgatory is after the Farming update)
THANKS FOR VOTING. ASCENTION 2 WILL BE FIRST UNLOCKED VIA THE DUNGEON
Now the fun begins π
The placeholder art is just for the screenshot. I've already drawn all the art I'm gonna put in
Wasn't Aiming for Ya -- 3rd perk of the "Left" Tree
Reduces Crit Chance by -50%, and boosts damage by +10% (multiplicative) for every applied "toggle"
Each Perk Level increases the maximum amount of toggles that can be applied

Red Gem R...roomba?
Anyway crystals are getting close to done, just gotta code in the bonuses!
POLL please vote!
So I have a feeling I've misjudged crystal bonuses. Please vote on what bonuses you think are the best for Potion Making!
= I'm going to use as many of these crystals as possible
= I'll use these if I don't have any good crystals left
= I dont like this bonus. I wish I had any other bonus to use instead of this crappy one
- Apothecary EXP
- Brewing Speed
- Potion Cost Reduction
- Double Brew Chance
POLL OVER -- Thanks for voting
Results: I changed an EXP crystal to a SPEED + Double Brew chance crystal (has both bonuses)
I also changed a double brew chance crystal to a Brew Speed crystal
I really hope that these new backgrounds add to the feel of the game
I always thought the game deserved some actual backgrounds -- but im not artist, so simple backdrops like this are the best I can do
This might not be what some of you wanted (youd probably prefer I just work on Ascention2 stuff), but these new backgrounds has been a long time coming, and I just couldn't help but do them now that I have some free time temporarily Just an FYI, I had these backgrounds planned back in early December, so I'm not just going on a whim doing this :]

Do you want Contract Shop 4 and 5 to contain "auto progress" upgrades?
Or would you rather me put in a different upgrade instead? One not related to auto-progress
Wow, that strawpoll link sure is a grower π
Taking up my whole screen
Almost done with the update! Expect it to be released on PC on April 6th, and Mobile April 7th! (About 48 and 72 hours from this post respecively)

REBIRTH IS OUT NOW ON PC
Poll -- because im curious (PC ONLY)
- For those have that played the update, have you rebirthed yet? Dont vote if you havent seen the update yet
Yes I have
I could rebirth, but I dont want to yet
I can't rebirth yet :[ I havent reached dungeon
- For those have have rebirthed, what do you think of it?
Good, I like the bonuses are worth it
Bad, the bonuses are not worth the loss
Alright just wanna post here so we are all on the same page
After a lot of thinking, Ive decided that I am happy with rebirth overall
I will be adding 1 more perk (will give More kills/kill)
and I will also be making it so rebirth gives Free Gems for the first 3 times you do it
Feels good to finally get this update out for everyone
My first order of business is to put in cloudsaving for mobile, and put in a free gem event with it
However, after that, I am gonna get cracking on more new content, which is where YOU (yea you!!) come into play...
POLL -- please vote!
What would you like to see come next to idle skilling? π€
- Raids 2, complete with 4 new bosses, insane difficulty, new currency and a new upgrade shop.
- Another Trio of skills, similar to Farming and Crafting. This would center around collecting/growing/training pets!
VOTE RESULTS
I will do Raids 2 before Pets. However, I will continue thinking up how pets will work in the back of my mind
Poll -- again lol
Just want to gauge how much people really want these things:
- Are you excited for Free Gem Easter Event?
- Are you hyped for Pay to Play Gem Easter Event? π
Data is from about 25,000 android players -- there are many more players than this (closer to 100k), but it doesn't get data from every player
To clarify the Gem Purchases: These include f2p purchases made with gems from events too, and are only a % based on total "permanent" purchases, not including consumables.
Lavaflame2: Raids 2 is next!
Also Lavaflame2: I made this egg drawing for Pet Skills
Lavaflame2: Raids 2 is next!
Also Lavaflame2: I made this spring for the Gem Event
I decided to take some time off this weekend and work on the event instead of Raids 2, with Cloudsave still an on-going process
At this point, I feel like the Gem Award may be coming before Raids 2? Not entirely sure but we will see!
Cloudsave still scheduled to be the next update before anything else
POLL -- Please vote
As some of you know, after the easter event comes and goes, pachinko will remain as a permanent feature!
Part of this feature will be how many daily balls π΅ you get. There will be tasks to increase the amount you get per day!
Question: What timescale would you like to be given pachinko balls? (Lets say you earn 40 a day)
- I want 40 balls every 24 hours (no reward for logging in often) -- total of 40/day
- I want 20 balls given every 8 hours. (rewards people who login often) total of 60/day
- I want 12 balls given every 4 hours. (bigger reward for logging in often) -- total of 72/day
Voting results
Here's how you'll earn balls π : Enter the Arcade, automatically collect balls, then it'll say "Next In 7:59", and you'll come back in 8 hours to get your next batch
Because the Arcade will be permanent (the easter event is just a "buff" to arcade), the arcade will have a bit going on -- with one of those things being a Task-list that you can complete.
The more tasks you are able to complete, the more balls π you'll get every 8 hours
Quick Question
Would you be happy if pets were of this quality? (Not much detail, but animated)
(As compared to something like Tinkering, where weapons were more higher detail (more pixels)
.
Just wanna clear things up real quick:
- Cloudsaving is still taking time, and I am still keen on including it in the next update
- Easter event will probably not be released beforehand, and I'll be changing it to "spring" event -- DONT WORRY everyone will still get 2 weeks or so of the event.
- I am still working on stuff, as you can see above! Yes, this update is stalling a bit, but it's not like nothing is happening. This update will be out when it's ready, and when that happens, the next update will be that much closer because of all the work I've been doing in my spare time!
- Thanks everyone for being patient with me here by the way, it really hurts me to not have released the update by now, but I just really want to get cloudsaving out, and I figured if I hold myself to "no more updates until cloudsave", then I'll finally get it done
Beginning work on the theme of Raids 2 -- which I am going to call Asylum.
It's going to have its own portal (just like Raids), which will be unlocked after defeating Demon X (daydream)... or maybe Demon Z (nightmare)
The rewards will be a little different this time around. Preliminary thought leads me to some sort of "statue" system, where you unlock statues with Asylum Points. You then spend various resources to level up these statues, which will give bonuses to different resource collection -- for example, the "mining" boosting statue would require sacrificing crops, and the "apothecary" boosting statue would require sacrificing Souls.
Asylum will be unlocked after defeating Demon X (hence the 4 crown silhouettes, one for each Raid Boss kill)-- however, you'll have to be MUCH more powerful to actually defeat any bosses here.
Boss fights are going to work a bit differently... Idle-attacks will not work here, similar to Crusades, and I'm gonna think of some ways to not have the fights be "spam attacks instantly", but instead be a little bit more interesting
Also, I will be streamlining the "farming" aspect. If you want to repeatedly fight a boss, there will be a 'refight' option.
Each Asylum Patient will have its own runic drop, which will be one of the ingredients used to upgrade the previously-mentioned Shrines.
These will be the Asylum version of "Raid Trophies"
This also means that partially damaging an Asylum Patient, without fully killing it, will not give any reward
v2.40 is shaping up to have the following things:
Cloudsaving (Mobile only)
Permanent Pachinko Arcade + Easter Bonus -- yes I'm just gonna own the fact that I'm doing easter like a month late
Asylum, but without the 4th boss -- so just 1, 2, and 3
Asylum will be fitted with Cards (4 for each boss), as well as PET DROPS -- these wont do anything YET, but will be kept for when pets DO eventually come out. These pet drops will be MUCH rarer than when the Pet Update is released. I did a similar thing with cards way way back in November.
POLL
I heard you got the 1st Asylum boss working! I want to see a gif reveal of what the 1st Asylum fight looks like! (I also want to see more spoilers in general!)
I didn't hear you got the 1st asylum boss working because you never said anything about it! I DONT want to see a gif reveal of the 1st Asylum fight! (I also don't want to see more spoilers)

Just a quick verbal update: Cloudsaving is making good progress! I still don't want to give a release date, but I am very happy with how it's going!

Thanks for all of you who are sticking with me on this one... I know it feels like nothing is happening with the game, but there is quite a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes (I can't really post Cloudsave gifs
). However, once I can finally get this cloudsaving going, you'll definitely see a lot more posts from me!
Not to mention that in a few weeks, I'll be out of school for MONTHS, and have plans to basically work on the game full time! So I'm pretty excited for that!
Here's a quick πΊ roadmap πΊ of what I hope to put out in the coming months: (release schedule is just an approximation, not official)
- Cloudsaving, Pachinko, and Asylum (Bosses 1 and 2) --- ** 1 -2 weeks**
- Zone 9, Zone 10, Final Rebirth Perks (top of tree), Asylum (Bosses 3 and 4), Black Perk Tree (new super attacks) -- 1 - 2 weeks
- Crusade/Tinkering rebalancing, overall QoL stuff (I'm gonna comb through all the suggestions and basically spend a week just fixing things up) -- 1 week
- Pets! 3 new skills -- Collecting pets, upgrading pets/pet living quarters, sending pets on adventures to collect pet stuff. Accessed via Toggle+Portal button -- 3-4 weeks
I'm considering doing 3 before i do 2
Vote on which you'd like to see first!
One of the Asylum Shrines --permanent upgrades to various things LIKE OVERKILLING AND AWAY GAIN %'S!!! that cost "asylum traces" dropped by bosses -- these traces are basically the asylum version of Raid Trophies
Each shrine will cost Traces, as well as a different currency which I will be thinking about over the coming days...
I may be introducing new "themed" currencies for each zone, like "rock fragments" for mining, "curled leaves" for botany, etc, which will be gained via using the area -- the amount gained based on your skill level.
Basically, I want to subtly make these old gameplay features fun/meaningful again, without making them a Core part of Asylum Shines
Also quick vote: vote above on which pet is better-- genie or duck
