Usually, what happens in all of the channels is that, there is a conversation going on, as is natural to human beings. You come in, you ask what you want, and you get the reply from the people that were there discussing anything else beforehand. If they don't reply to you because the other conversation was too interesting, maybe try asking somewhere else, or waiting, I dunno, 5 minutes, and sending again?

I assure you that we've all been through that, and we all survive. Casuals are honestly the soul of the game, meanwhile whales are the engines that keep it going.
