pity is the amount of pulls you need to do before the game takes pity on you and gives you the unit for free. doot has a pity of 200 pulls with 250 gems per pull (disregarding the initial few cheaper pulls because i don't remember how many of each you get). 200 pulls of 250 gems is 50k gems, and at an incredibly generous exchange rate of 100 gems per dollar which you can only really get from bundles, that's $500. for comparison, even fate grand order has a cheaper pity (....... of $480 but hey)

compared to the what, current pity system of 30 pulls of 250 gems for the blues, which is "only" 7500 gems which is "only" $75, that's insane. it's just... okay, we all know what lava was thinking when he made it, but goodness

A single wheel with everyone's name ... Spin, the winner chooses one pet and is removed from the wheel and so on
