Doot was quite literally a design mistake for the game a literal black mark so to speak i dont think lava wants another drama like that on his hands since i heard people where pretty miffed about it back when it first came out.

Notice how alot of the stuff in ancient spirits are more just numbers buffs rather then change literal fundamental mechanics of the game ala ram,rift slug and doot
i mean shit slime is still one of basically only 3 buffs to gold ball gain in the game.
