I get 24 hours of active play per day, and 9x *24 hours of AFK, so +12 hours does not seem like that much.

its a global skill like all the other global skills, research is just triggered and calculated every so often, where as other global skills, like summoning and sneaking are calculated when interacting with them, ie running over the summoning thing or opening sneaking. its **not **a skill where each character collects its own afk gains from. you ether get 100% from passively triggering it while online or when it triggers after you log onto the first character

you dont get 10x 100% afk gains you just get it once when you log into the first character

so the 12h from the black market thing turns your 24h/day into 36h/day
