tough to say honestly. I know that you'll have stalagtites (your level 45 location) on xp farm for a while (into your 50s), so maybe that will get some insight xp? What I do know is you should insight level up the stuff your monocles are on, as they get a multi based on their insight level (from your N8 or O8 research node)

Yeah the differences in bonuses is pretty severe. The shape is always going to give a huge boost until you run out of shape space. Monuments are additive most of the time so after a month, every day you basically get +1 well speed. +1 cooking speed.
