Equipping just allows you to level up the bonus/unlock new colors that are adjacent to them. Equipping 1-4 has both pros and cons, like having 4 different bonuses to level/unlock new colors, but at 25% the rate due to only one in every four sprouts being any specific color you have equipped.

Lava himself admits another equip slot isn't that big a deal since it's just an option to equip more, but that isn't necessarily a benefit.

I have up through elephant unlocked, so just another few days/week to purrmep, at which point idk what the goal is.

DK - Active killing/working on skulls with nobisect (I might swap this out for another class once they are all similar strength)
Everyone else - Lab/Div, swapping out 1 at a time to push through W5 to level ~350+ (with nobisect)
