Most of Arcanist you're dealing with "ugh I can't spawn enough arcane mobs to beat the timer" which fart cloud and aura help a lot more than skull. Much much later (W6) is when the script flips to "I can spawn HUNDREDS of Arcane Mobs, I just can't kill them!" which is when you use the potion throw skill
