Research is super timelocked, even for whales, so as long as you're making any progress, you're doing fine.
For spelunking, I can just recommend to have your characters afk in whatever cave gives the most exp, and have vman always sitting in cave 1, so that you can spam stacks of 24,999 chapter 1

The no exp gain from arctis only applies to when your character isn't in lab. They'll be active, but no exp. If they're actually in lab, they get exp like normal

• Always have 1-2 plots pushing new crops
• Cycle through crops to activate OG bonuses (if unlocked)
• Cycle through crops to push day and exotic market (if unlocked)
• Once it gets too slow for you, setup to reset and bean trade
• Prep enough OG stacks of your furthest crop(s) to try and get 200/1k+ crops when you claim them after turning in (if your speed is fast enough, follow this guide from Trialpears https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpTuYgeFQag)
• Night market priority - Super > Value (till you can cap at 10k/exotic cap) > Evo/Speed/OG

What I'd do is main link arctis/goat then pocket div omni+harriep. Then like before collecting your pushers afk hours, swap harriep to nobi so when you claim on pusher he gets the x2 kill bonus
