What in god's name do I have to do to pump my artifact find that doesn't involve spending $200 or something? The new artifacts were pretty consistently gettable up to Toxic Bay where they skyrocketed for me to like 1 in 10k and nothing seems to scratch them.

I've got all ender captains and I've pretty consistently pumped artifact find in the hole as well as Kilroy.

Am I hitting a paywall until new stuff is added pretty much, or are other f2p players getting these things?

Yes, this is very typical. Up through Stormy North Island (lightning treasure), the sovereign odds are pretty bearable. Starting from Snow South (snowman treasure), the odds drop considerably (easy hundreds to tens of thousands times harder). You will need to get comfortable farming days/weeks on end at <0.05% find odds.

WARNING: Seeing 0.01% odds doesn't actually mean you are at 0.01% find chance. 0.01 is simply the lowest displayed odds whereas your actual odds might be much lower.
