Oh, yeah, it's like its own separate world. It has a LOT of bonuses, just keep at it. It's very slow at first

You level explorer to unlock new caverns with their own minigames

That's not exploration, exploration is what 1 specific villager does in it. That's the cavern. It's incredibly important with tons of things to do

The second, third, and fourth villagers all have "bonuses" of their own. Every cavern gives at worst opals or some kind of resource, but also likely gives you some kind of benefit. Like the Gravel for example, there's a later upgrade via the second villager that gives you more grey DNA from deleting Breeding pets based on how much Gravel you have.

That's just ONE example, there's plenty of like +damage, +DR, etc benefits.

Okay so before I look at anything, BOTH of these are at 95% thresholds, despite the massive level difference I have between them. Mage is Best clearly scales better, but the important thing in a way is that Severa (and similar) also buff the first bubble for everyone, so that would mean the WIS bonus would be for everybody. That's like the only benefit I really see for the case of Bubble 17 (Severa) vs Bubble 2 (Mage is Best), because Bubble 2 also buffs Bubble 1.

For Purple specifically, Bubble 17 buffs Bubble 1 (+WIS), Bubble 3 (+Chop Eff per POW 10 Max MP), Bubble 5 (+Chop/Alch EXP), Bubble 13 (+Max Charge per POW 10 Worship level), and Bubble 15 (Material Cost of Purple Bubble upgrading is cheaper), but the thing is, MAGE IS BEST ALSO BUFFS THESE THINGS, AND BETTER, provided you're a Mage class. None of these are particularly important for non-Mages, so I really don't understand why you would want to prisma Bubble 17 over Bubble 2 (unless you want to prisma them both, THEN the scaling on those 5 bubbles are pretty nutty).

Meanwhile, Bubble 2 not only mults all of Bubble 17's bubbles, but also other ones like Brew Speed (Bub 9), Attack Speed (Bub 19), and Tachyon Gain (Bub 33) to pull 3 random examples out of nowhere (the last one being particularly noteworthy).

TL;DR: I do not know why Bubble 17 is S-tier while Bubble 2 is A-tier, I really don't fucking get it.
