If you unlock w5? Anvil you should be given the recipes to craft up to 24 hour candies starting from 1 hours as a base, and you can somewhat farm candies through daily w2 mini boss and if you want to spend tickets, colosseum

It's a 1:1 equivalent so there's little benefit to do so, the few exceptions I can think of off the top of my head (some nice anvil exp at lvl60ish, using them for constellations like those needing to afk for 16+ hours, and for Omar's quest)

I would recommend getting the one that boosts artifact find chance as high as possible

summoning winner bonuses once you get into it a bit
everything else is nice to have but not strictly necessary as they're primarily just skill speed ups
