In W7 you unlock the "Exotic Market" some of the bonuses within affect farming per farming Level
In W4 there is a meal (Burnt Marshmallow I think) that increases in effectiveness per 50 farming levels
and in W5 some measurements in the Hole use your "All Skill Level" as a metric to give boosts which farming levels help with

I keep throwing this out there, but the gear pieces themselves (head, body, legs, feet) are irrelevant until at BARE minimum Troll, but really it's more like Kruk is when gear starts to at least give you stuff you care about.

I personally didn't really gear the whole crew until Godshard/Emperor.

FTR: Weapons and Tools are always relevant though and you will get a nice little increase on each new one you make, but unless you're actively using them, don't just upgrade everyone's tools constantly. Make enough for a set bonus though.

Once you get to godshard and you're getting MK and DR on pieces as well as some decent WP, then you'll start to actually want it on your whole team.

I think my second ES was in the log helm from W1, Doot pants, etc random trash I found, and he was pushing W7 with it 😆 obv an extreme example but yeah, I'm definitely an outlier for an 11 week-old player
