So your Forge + Archer Talent is limited by how much your forge can hold. Once you claim on an archer, all those kills get calculated and progresses the forge, but it can only go until it hits empty, THEN the Automation Arm will refill it.

If your forge capacity is bigger, then your forge can handle all the kills from your archers.

Cosmo can enhance your forge to hold up to 243x the ore it normally can, which is RIDICULOUSLY massive.

the item animation is a major cause of the lag

Oh I know it's a game optimization issue

Part of the issue of being a solo dev is you either have to work on content or work on bugfixes or work on optimization

and content is what gets you the paycheck
