AFK claims are calculated upon you coming back. So you can even do things like place shrines on the map on another character before going back to the afk one.

if you intend to smelt a lot of ores its a good idea to reseet conjuror, max it, do your things then reset (or keeping it max if you want, at the loss of some other bonus)

you'll have many godshard ore (or any other ore) in your storage, then candy at gmsuh (or any other, but gmush kill benefits fungi finger pocketer for money) and with the auto arm that put ores automatically you can just spam candies until you're out of ore in your storage, and go collect your bars

since with an increase forge cap you'll be able to have more ore per slot, you'll smelt more bars, so more godshard stack in storage will make it so when the slots are empty, auto arm will refill
