Like again here's all the prayers and here's why their downsides don't matter (in order):

• Dimwit: Skill EXP loss isn't as bad since your Efficiency is higher (higher Eff = more EXP gained anyway). Yes it's an OVERALL loss of EXP, but it's worth.
• Beefy: Oh no, DEF and ACC? Two USELESS stats being lowered? Whatever will I do???
• Shiny: Literally no downside since the net result is more shinies.
• Rush: Lower Carry Cap is irrelevant, until you need to upg stamps/gFood for beanstalk etc, to which you can then turn it off (and put on Ruck Sack if needed) and oh look, no downside.
• Tachion: This literally HAS no downside.
• Balance: See Beefy. It's the same downside, but gives Multikill instead of Damage. Again, virtually no downside.
• Vacuous: This one like I said is personal preference. It uses 2x your Dungeon Passes to give you 2x Credits/Flurbos, but like, here's the thing: You get tons of credits/Flurbos OUTSIDE of dungeons too, and you don't HAVE to use a pass to enter a dungeon if you're out of them! In a way, no downside!

It just depends on what you're doing. If you're still working on evolving plants, invest heavily in plant evo. If you're done evolving plants, invest in exp and land rank exp. Generally plant value isn't useful since plant value caps at 10k and you can reach that with night market.

depends on what you mean by work properly?
if you mean it drains all your ore and refills it, just means that you're killing enough monsters in that time for your forge cap, which could mean you can increase your cap
