Medallions as a whole are a separate multiplier, but each medallion adds to that overall medallion multiplier.

So if you have +10% damage per medallion and 5 medallions, it's 1.5x damage. If you pick up a 6th medallion, it'd then be 1.6x damage.

The refinery will produce salts on a cycle as long as you have the required materials in your chest when the timer hits 0. In order to increase the rank of a salt in the refinery, you have to let your power bar for the salt completely fill before refining.

To stay salt positive, follow this process. Make sure to grab the merit shop upgrades and always rank up Red and Green salts.

Step 1) Go on your Arcane Cultist and turn on Arcanist Form.
Step 2) Kill things for a while. The faster your kills, the quicker you'll get it done, but go do murder.
Step 3) After collecting 1000 fragments, hold click on them. Boom! You've unlocked afk tachyons!
Step 4+) When you afk on your AC, you'll receive 1 Arcane Rock for every hour your afk session is. Afk for 2h40m? That's 2 Arcane Rocks.

Notes:

• If you have 2 AC's, you only need to do this once.
• To get Arcane Rocks, you must be afk'ing combat. It doesn't matter whether you're in Arcanist Form or not. And no, no candy.
• When using Arcane Rocks, they are based off your current AFK Info display. Kill some mobs for a bit first, then consume the item just as you would a candy.

From what I've heard, Lava didn't account for daylight savings time when he programmed the merit reset. So for the first hour after a reset, the previous week's bonus is still in effect and your vote gets eaten if you try to vote.
