There are two item drops that look similar.

Charred fragments, require active farming in form. Need 1k to unlock charred bones.

Charred bones accumulate when on "fighting" map. One bone per hour afk, on the hour. Gives one hour of the "estimated gain" when in wraith form farming.

Edit: getting charred bones doesn't need to be in wraith form.
