In order for your characters to get their fair share of shared exp, you start by first claiming the afk time of a mantra character. The game, upon claiming afk mantra time, will then calculate what should be sent to the rest of your characters. However, that shared exp also does not show up on the remaining characters afk claim screen, but it does get added to your divinity exp bar none the less!
The easiest way to make sure mantra is working for you is to claim all afk time on all mantra characters, and watch your exp bars on the rest of your characters go up.

(Shared exp from the bubo's lab talent also works the same way! Gotta claim your bubo first to let the game know how much exp should be shared)

There are a couple of schematics that will give you random bonuses for ringing the bell, so you'll reset to maximize those. And when you unlock Bolaia, you'll get a chance to get a large boost to one of those six bonuses at the bottom, so you'll reset if the bonus goes into something you don't want.

Collectibles are like sailing relics, and the more you find the lower your chance to get the next collectible. I think that I dropped the suggma adept recipe ages ago and left the map and lost it.
My ES (DR 14.3 & 60.5M kill lava skull for ES/167M kills overall) has been active afk for many hours and has roughly 65M ashes in bag. They also dropped 1 Lucky lad, but did not drop the recipe.
