Easy answer: You aren't getting 5m kills an hour because multikill is not factored into active non-primary drops.

A better measure is how many royal urns do you have? Because 1k royal urns is equivalent to the drop rate of the recipe.

Understand that DN count includes MK, KPK, and other multis which aren't accounted for when you go for loot. Loot is based on base kills so you have to factor all those out. Generally, a good comparison is to look at the number of Royal Urn drops you have. On average, most get it around 1K urns collected (or roughly 1B DN kills if you insist on using this count as a measure).

That makes it so that even if you progress your trapping efficiency and get higher shiny chance you will still have the lower shiny chance if you don’t refresh traps

Not sure what you mean by this, but yeah ignore the number in the corner of the board. It's about boosting your DK's construct level as high as possible because
A) Cog values are based on the highest construct level among all your chrs, so you'll get better cogs in the long run
B) A chr's build rate vastly outpaces any cog's build rate, so you'll get WAY, WAY more build rate from leveling a chr's construct level.

The only stat you need to worry about is its exp value. Set this to exp

If it's a directional cog (the cog will be shaped like an arrow), check what the directional bonus is.

Every other stat on a cog that isn't exp is just a nice-to-have bonus. But I absolutely will trash a cog if it has a ton of build rate but a low exp value.

The one exception is if you still are working to unlock slots on your board with flags. Then directional "Speed to Flags" cogs are also very important.

It's not a pity system

It's a function of how the game calculates loot

It's what makes it possible for the game to drop more than one rare item of a single type

It also shortcuts the math, because if somebody were to afk for 3 years, randomly rolling for loot for that many drops for each kill could crash the game lol

The math lava is actually wrong, because the chance of getting your expected value is only about 2/3 in reality, but lava just gives you what you would expect
