Hi all! What's the thing you guys would advice to kill/clean mobs faster? I'm having a rough time with Hounds and Rift even though my players can do very good damage, it's making me think that there must be a mob respawn, skill cooldown reduction or faster basic attack stat somewhere in the game. But I have tried to investigate by myself and haven't been able to find anything useful. I appreciate the help

biggest thing is just making sure nothing else is the game is lacking, everything benefits off of everything, and when you think your alchemy is good, it can always be better

hounds you shouldn’t worry about though, as there are in cavern buffs that make it easier later on, and each rift is generally much harder than the previous one, mainly from mob hp

and small things especially, like making sure you have void tools on each character and slowly working them all up to the highest you can, most likely dreadlo

and don’t let rings or armor lack either, same with post office and prayers, + cooking, lab, and making sure you’re doing gaming consistently

Tyvm!! I'll keep all of that in mind. I've been trying to do all of that and I think I'm doing fine with my progression right now I think lol, and I don't know if by this time I should be able to clear at least Rift #1, but I haven't been able. Mobs just don't respawn enough to clean 500 of them in 5 minutes, I think. And with Hounds, the problem was that they start to spawn in mass and my characters would wipe them off if they had their skills ready but they suffer without them when they're on cooldown

Right now I'm in the middle of World 5, I have void ore to last for eternity thanks to sampling and automated forge and I'll try to upgrade to the green ore once I think I'll have enough materials to craft green equipment, but for now that seems fairly distant. Damage wise I think my chars are almost ok, but I haven't crafted them all with their best void equipment so I think that's not a problem for now. But with my first and strongest character, a Blood Berserker, it surprises me how weak in terms of fast cleaning it still is

Again, I don't know if at the point I'm currently in I should be able to rush rift. Hounds in the other hand at least I now know that it can be eased with cavern bonuses, because not even my Berserker can't get the 1,800 kills for the first opal :(

I just unlocked sovereign artifacts. First few islands were easy to get, but I'm focusing on Fury now. Is it true that I'm seeing 0.01% odds?
Yes, this is very typical. Up through Stormy North Island (lightning treasure), the sovereign odds are pretty bearable. Starting from Snow South (snowman treasure), the odds drop considerably (easy hundreds to tens of thousands times harder). You will need to get comfortable farming days/weeks on end at <0.05% find odds.

WARNING: Seeing 0.01% odds doesn't actually mean you are at 0.01% find chance. 0.01 is simply the lowest displayed odds whereas your actual odds might be much lower.

Should I be using the Unending Loot Search talent?
Generally - the answer is - if you still have artifacts to find, you should not turn this talent on.

Let's say you have all 20 ships and a loot pile capacity of 20 (cap is 30).
When you don't have the talent on, your ships will sail, fill up your loot pile, and then sit at the dock once the loot pile is at full capacity. For this example, it means you have 40 attempts at artifacts per 1 sailing claim.
If you turn the talent on, your ships will sail, fill up your loot pile (-1 capacity), and then keep sailing and trying to only upgrade those existing treasures. For this example, it means you have 19 attempts at artifacts per 1 sailing claim.

But those 19 attempts will have higher odds!
Like in gaming when doing mutation unlocks, this is a situation of quantity >>> quality since the odds will be low (especially so on sovereign artifacts). 50-60% more chests is far more useful than having ever so slightly better odds at half that amount.

Hey I was able to get my artifacts to eldritch after getting my find chance jacked up really high. Now I finally unlocked sovereign and much more find chance since then, but every chest seems to only have a .01 chance EVEN from my captains with massive artifact find chance. Is that normal?! It used to be low on other captains but now is low on all of them.

Little tip for ya - only keep your two or three best nunchucks. You don't need all of your chrs to have one, and they clutter up your inventory.
