I just unlocked sovereign artifacts. First few islands were easy to get, but I'm focusing on Fury now. Is it true that I'm seeing 0.01% odds?
Yes, this is very typical. Up through Stormy North Island (lightning treasure), the sovereign odds are pretty bearable. Starting from Snow South (snowman treasure), the odds drop considerably (easy hundreds to tens of thousands times harder). You will need to get comfortable farming days/weeks on end at <0.05% find odds.

WARNING: Seeing 0.01% odds doesn't actually mean you are at 0.01% find chance. 0.01 is simply the lowest displayed odds whereas your actual odds might be much lower.

to circle back to your mining question: you can do some rift for a bit to get to rift 16, unlocking skill mastery, making skilling a lot better for everyone - but honestly, for mage skilling 40, you might as well candy at the highest xp ore until you hit the next ore threshold. Be sure to use prayers(+eff/-xp), signs, cards, bubbles. And hopefully ur mman is highest in mining

i think you're overcomplicating it, equip 4 speed pots and the speed sign and do the fighting semi-manually, ie move to a group of enemies, activate auto (or click individual enemies), repeat. This prevents auto making ur character stay stuck on a single mob and using wave slash

Push and level with ur DK For w5 specifically , kruk is annoying to deal with, dk makes it 10x easier

Yes tromp, once you unlock arctis , your characters will be active in lab too, and you can get a nice 2x portal / deathnote buff that’ll help push w5 a lot ,

levels can unlock base classes and more
mage/archer base will give more div exp and more anvil points
squire will give more cons xp (especially useful for the non-active squire as they gain more (aka the regular non-nerfed amount) of xp)
in all honesty, getting everyone their elites would be best to allow for the duplicates to be skill setup or split the skill setup points if everyone is still low level with not many talent points
