I want to make the ice hammer and upgrade my weapon and I recently read that sometimes there's a benefit to applying the stone on another character and then moving the item back to the intended character.

What should be my determining factors?

It's a long process basically best advice I can give in the beginning is that first steam roll through the first map and get armarok and do use ur vault upgrade

From that on point it's just understanding the game little better and ask doubts or watch videos based on it

Hey so recently i unlocked the Tab 5 from the anvil and i started farming the recipes for the magma set, there are 2 recipes that im unable to get after extensive farming the magma helmet and the magma boots. I have a 8x droprate and the odds are 1 in 5M but after farming 50M purgatory stalker i still dont have the recipe, am i missing something? cause like 1 in 5M with 8x droprate makes it so that i have like a 1 in 800k chance so surely after 50M kills on stalkers and cheese nubs i should see a recipe or am i just unlucky

Understand that DN count includes MK, KPK, and other multis which aren't accounted for when you go for loot. Loot is based on base kills so you have to factor all those out. Generally, a good comparison is to look at the number of Royal Urn drops you have. On average, most get it around 1K urns collected (or roughly 1B DN kills if you insist on using this count as a measure).

replace suggma with whatever mob you're farming

tl;dr MK doesn't affect "rare" drops so your kill count isn't accurate for determining drops

I understand it makes sense, but even when using the number of base drops i got its still weird asf, causel ike fort the stalkers i got 30M skulls which are a 1 in 7 chance to get, so that means that ive got 210 M rolls for the recipe which as i said is a 1 in 5M chance

Multikill does affect the top left/main drop of a card. It doesn't affect anything else, which is why, for suggmas, you could use the royal urn as a "counter" of sorts to gauge your base kills
For purg stalkers, both DR and MK are affecting skull drops so you can't really use that

Toolbox has a guaranteed drop calculator tool if you want to try and AFK it it, otherwise, just divide out any 2x bonuses (lab, div) and then your MK% and factor in a little bit for any KPK you have from various bubbles/talents

honestly though, just come back with higher DR. 8x is barely anything nowadays

And you don't particularly need magma armor unless you're going to turn it into Kruk

i mean im still missing the sparkle obols but i guess i must ve overlooked something, i started the game like 2,5 months ago i reached W6 like 3 weeks ago

Early DR will mostly come from PO Box, cards, obols (family+personal and rerolled), weekly boss star talent and shrine
