Yes, it's good, good for starting out. I believe you have all your characters linked to Arctis when starting out so you don't lose the Lab node benefits, I could be wrong, I got spooned King Doot very early on.

I wouldn't farm Deathnote with Maestro, until you need to get the (10m? I think?) personal kills with him for the quest. I'd use your highest damage character with as much Multikill % to farm World 1 enemies to Platinum Skull (1 Million) and once you're at that point, your death note will be a lot better to make it easier for your Maestro to do the personal Gmush kills.

Honestly, all you need to do is just check on each skill like once a day or so, there's not much to do there early

If you can survive a Summoning battle then do it asap though, the bonuses can be really good once you get enough essence upgrades to handle it

Yes, you need to get your skilling up on your characters too. Maestro has two great talents (Left Hand of Learning and Right Hand of Action) which increase all of your characters Skill Efficiency and Skill XP gained, the Efficiency gained from that talent alone will boost your prints significantly, as long as he is the highest skill level in all skills, or whichever one you want better prints for.

For prints / alchemy, you need to focus on your multi-gather chance big bubbles, Sploosh Sploosh, Bug2, Molto Loggo, as well as any that increase efficiency.

Tool power and speed affect your prints, and so ensure that you equip the highest tool possible and use the highest upgrade stones that you can (World 5 for you).

make sure you max your cauldron boosts, bubo doesn't have to be in the cauldron but putting him in speeds up progress which gives you more rolls, CCing (especially with 200+ tenta) also gives you a lot of alchemy progress to give you more rolls

Just keep doing what you're doing. Whenever you get a new nugget or artifact you'll get a small boost to buy new upgrades then it'll drop back down to being slow

Your biggest bit multi opporunity right now is probably the Equinox Metal Detector buff to force bigger nuggets. If you've gotten that already, then work on W6 farming to get to 5s/instant gaming so you can get more nuggets

shinies from traps can only drop 1 per trap, regardless of anything except for the Shiny Snitch prayer (highly recommend putting that on everyone if you have the Rift 5 Trap Vaccum bonus)
you'll get enough shiny critter chance bonuses elsewhere that you'll always want to run that to speed it up

if you don't have the prayer yet, the run the fastest silkskin traps that you can check consistently (doing an hour or two of 20 minute traps to unlock a building or craft 1 item is probably worth it, just swap trap durations once you're done)

in regards to nature traps, VMan should have full natures and if you have the space, then use VMan to also place one nature trap of your highest critter on everyone to help with xp

I'm only at +7 on that upgrade, so unfortunately I can't offer any more suggestion. I've seen a few people in #endgame-gen-chat (#👀read-me reaction) have level 9/10 of that upgrade (search +9 land rank), so it was definitely working when they got it (prior to last patch though). So always the chance there was a bug introduced

Should I be saving my plants to get more evolution tiers unlocked for the log book?
For T1-T5 evolutions, you will get them naturally and easily over time as you progress through gaming. Do not save your sprouts, just harvest them all.
For T6, you will get them all naturally by time you reach around ~1B/T red bits. Do not save your sprouts, just harvest them all.
For T7, you can get them all once you have instant gaming (very late stage), requires deep farming (W6 skill). Setup board to have 1 or 2 of the plant you want the t7 for with the rest as chemplants. Use all the chemplants and they hit t7. If they don't, reset and restart.
For T8, requires instant gaming, a lot of setup with chem plants (anywhere from 10-20 hrs worth of chaining), and pray to the RNG gods.
TL:DR - don't chase evos
