Yes that's terrible. You need to book Cranium Cooking and invest heavily into the bubble. Until you've got level 200 tenteycle, a good enough potty roll print and can reliably one-shot citringes with your Aura (which you should also book), I wouldn't bother. Try to get those book max levels up as well, I invested some time in Sailing for the Fury artifact and the salt lick upgrades. I acquired Slug early on so the Fury artifact was all I truly needed in the end, personally.

Towards later gaming, you'll end up keeping it on all the time since it is very easy to outscale the negative - particularly to help enable 5sec and/or instant gaming.
