What's the best way to get Evergreen/Chemical plant mutation in gaming?
Because genes have terrible scaling/diminishing returns in providing additional odds for getting the unlock - you want to make as many attempts as possible with lower odds. More rolls at low odds >>> fewer rolls at only ever so slightly better odds.
Generally recommended to not wait for more than ~1% for evergreen or ~0.1% for chemplant.
Be warned: it can still take you weeks or even months to unlock if you've upset the rng gods.
General strategy:
- harvest all -> make an attempt
- Have sprinkler charge? Use sprinkler -> harvest all -> make an attempt
- Have a log game game? Use log game -> harvest all -> make an attempt -> use sprinkler -> harvest all -> make an attempt

There are 2 more tiers past ancient. Elder (unlocked from rift) and sovereign (unlocked from w6 sneaking jade emporium). So you will end up going back to earlier islands eventually

Renew doesn't change cost however many times you do it. The only things that reset are the ring bonuses bottom left like the harp note gain and bucket fill rate stuff. You would normally reset it when you get the bonuses that allow for a chance to roll +2-3 bonuses per click. Also can reset if you don't like how your ring distribution is

I only checked cooking every few months, I mostly cooked turkey and let no meal left behind do its work. But I wanted to finish it quickly, so I started checking in on it a lot. Got it down from over 100 days to around 20, just by having BB male ladles, using food lust the best I could, focusing on getting all meals leveled to get more cooking speed. And a few cevern cooking speed bonuses along the way

Better to do it every day (or every 20 hours, technically) unless you're pretty close to a new unlock.
More runs means more chances at opals which are super important, especially early on. Once you get further down the line you can run it every other day if you want

- Sailing - make sure you unlock new boats/captain slots (up to 20 of each!), keep working on getting last artifact from first island before moving on
- Good job on getting Maestro to rank 1 in fishing/trapping, keep working on skills once you get past the initial div/hole grind. Make sure you compare xp rates at Motherlode to dementia/void, as each new layer will require higher efficiency
- Don't forget to claim worship charge/anvil production when you check each character
- Construction - try to focus your cogs on XP% as that will net you more build rate in the long run
- Star Signs - you have a couple that have been completed, just need to be clicked on to collect. Also try and work on some of the W3 ones that you can candy if you want
- Cooking - unsure what you're cooking as IT is showing peppers (which might be from mine?), but you most likely have some meals that you can unlock, as well as pushing current meals up to level 11 in prep for Diamond Chef
- Alchemy - keep working on unlocking bubbles, try to aim for 18th across all cauldrons

Just gotta work on your cooking eff and afk gains. Should be a bit easier with Hole giving access to full Goat for an extra 20-50% afk gains
