Once you have Moai Head - you have it forever. Its more a question of keeping node in lab lit up - especially early on while your lab levels are low and you don’t have goat unlocked yet

What's the best way to get Evergreen/Chemical plant mutation in gaming?
Because genes have terrible scaling/diminishing returns in providing additional odds for getting the unlock - you want to make as many attempts as possible with lower odds. More rolls at low odds >>> fewer rolls at only ever so slightly better odds.
Generally recommended to not wait for more than ~1% for evergreen or ~0.1% for chemplant.
Be warned: it can still take you weeks or even months to unlock if you've upset the rng gods.

To unlock it? Roll for it always, don't try to stock up on % unlock. It has crazy diminishing returns so 10 rolls at 0.1% is better than 3 rolls at 0.15%

work a bit on your droprate as the backtrack guide said

get some level on your dk and book his Orb talent

then start stacking the orb before spawning the miniboss

and if you done correctly and kill with lets say ~300 orb stack with your current dk

you can get +200 keys or more depends on your droprate
