Whoops forgot to follow up.
So basically an AFK claim at most can progress whatever is left in your forge. If you have 10k ores in your forge and it takes you 3 seconds of AFK time (cause your KPH is so igh) to progress the 10k ores, then doing 2min claims is your best option (since you need 2mins to pass to actually get AFK prog).
If your KPH is so bad it takes 8 hrs to prog the full forge, then yeah doing an 8hr claim or 8hrs of 2min claims would net about the same results. <-- This should basically be impossible unless you're like SUPER early on.

If you have 10k ore, and whether you would've progged 10k or 10000000T ore. When you login and do your AFK claim on archer, you will only prog up to as much as is left in the forge. So you claim and your 10k ore are gone, then auto arm will restock the forge at that point. Your AFK claim doesn't prog 12309218321098 forge refills for you.

actually I still have 1 question for speed as well.. Do you know if evos are more likely to happen with you active clicking at higher speeds. I remember in the distant past stuff would evolve in front of my eyes.. now it just barely happens. Only happens when I have my plants not at 20/20, and it's rare..

sometimes I wish I could go back to when my active evos occurred, since it got my shell evolutions up really fast. But it's not possible I guess.

If you've got the sheet open you should see this line which is mostly talking about your plants not evolving. This is a bugfeature of gaming from W6 bonuses, basically the only way to get past it is more speed, but even then you probably won't see too many active evolutions

This instant growing I got today started counting evos from t1 cactuses and any chems, and logs at least.. I guess that's the only major silver lining then for shell.

(19 max for chems and log game at 3hrs for the sweet spot), and maybe 10 max for a t1 cactus evolve.

like before today, this was near maybe 1000 evos done for months on rank 25... Now it's halfway done on rank 25 in 1 day.

since, a really great way to boost damage is to literally get as many sources of total damage as possible. Since all total damage sources are multiplicative with each other.. Minus 3 bubbles in alchemy which are additive together, then multiplied in.

I feel like the first round in log is pure RNG whether it gives you a skull or not. After that it's pretty consistent if you pay attention where there's a star or not.

It's always worth buying the left upgrade in the fertilizer screen. So the one increasing your "base value"
Every level is ~7% more bits than before and you can currently probably buy 4'ish upgrades (maybe even more?)
So buy that asap, unless you are close to another import / upgrade you specifically save for
