I guess, given that I had mostly ignored the mechanic, I should try to lvl up towers for the 2nd and 3rd setups (the first are for early attemps with early towers)? Or some towers are completely useless until many lvls are put onto them?

How to beat chaotic kruk with the Void Walker? He has almost no AOE damage, just the whip and occasional screen clearing one. So the moles keep healing kruk

Get more dmg tbh. You need to manually play to manage the waves. Between whip, coins, and void radius you should be able to clear the waves easily

use basic attack** only on Kruk if you're having trouble managing the mole waves

My vman is 340 -- was around 300 when I beat nightmare kruk, so you shouldn't have troubles with chaotic kruk if you've gotten your vman that high

As you see, you only grow T5 with the insta kitsune off, however the T6 is a MUCH higher chance than getting a T7 from kitsune on. When you factor that each plant tier is 3x the previous, and kitsune basically lowers by 1 tier with 3x less...then you should arguably be gaining more bits than with kitsune on since you'll be hitting more of that next tier

Yeah. I would even argue that at that point it's basically set in stone as well to always have Kitsune off too. Even with more speed and if more crops added later, it will always only be a single Tier behind, and more likely to hit that next tier too. Even moreso when you account for the fact that more evos no longer help you because shell is 100% broken and doesn't count more and more of those evos. My shell has barely moved ever since the farming update at my speeds now
