Gmush is still great with low kph. Starting at 400kph would be +2% increase almost every 2 hours. Spend three days there and you got +100% that you never had before. It's great to get gmush going, when you have the node.

Both drop rarity and drop rate are essentially talking about the same thing. How often an item will drop.

Mobs have tables with listed drop rates, Gmush, for instance, has Spore Caps at 1 in 5 chance. That means, on average with 1x Drop Rarity on your character sheet, you will get one cap per 5 mushrooms you kill.

If you increase your Drop Rarity to 2x or 5x, then you should expect 2 caps per 5 mushrooms you kill or 5 per 5. If you have 10x DR, then you should expect 10 caps per 5 mushrooms, or 2x caps. It's just algebra.

For items in bags, you multiply the drop rate of the item time the drop rate of the bag so Nomwiches from Gmush is 1 in 4 * 1 in 344 or 1 in 1376 odds.

There are a few things that buff your DR without changing the number on your sheet, such as DK's Orb, ES' Portal, (maybe) Jman's active skill? These work slightly differently and there should be plenty of info in the discord...somewhere

drop rate and rarity are just 2 sides of the same coin - the terms can be used interchangeably.
easiest way to explain it is with an item a lot are familiar with: golden poops. these have a 1 in 20k drop rate from poops. this can be easier to get based on your drop rate stat. if you have a drop rate of 2.0x, your odds are now 2 in 20k (or 1:10k). if you pump it to 5.0x, your odds are not 5 in 20k (or 1:4k). you can either change the 1 in the odds to your DR or divide the chance by your DR to get what it should be

This recipe should be gotten as soon as the task of beating nightmare Kruk on all characters can be completed.
