Not sure if anyone answered you already - but for these timed ones you need to wait the full 100 seconds. The check is at 100 seconds not when you get 100 kills. So if you run out early thinking you finished already, it wont record it

if you are able to check several times a day, its more about making sure your boats are going to optimal islands, i.e. islands they can reach within your minimal travel time. because of how low odds chances works, you want to maximize on number of chests by optimizing this way

there are a few exceptions, notably fury relic, where it'll be better to just send your full armada because of how strong the relic is - but for the most part, only send the ships as far as they can within the timer period you are often able to check

Kind of depends on what you're aiming for. Full kruk is a good initial stopping point.
If you want damage then marbi helm/feet and kruk chest/legs, is good, I believe
Kruk weapons all have respawn on them which will be more beneficial for most classes than the bit of extra damage and money that marbi gives.

Yeah mine are already at a level I'd never get to by actively putting points in it myself... and they aren't even very high. I imagine with the higher equinox % buff and when I have CC bubble a lot higher, the water will be flowing good

Keep in mind that every new tier of relic is less of a jump in overall account impact than the previous tier. So finding new relics is generally better. With a few notable exceptions, such as the Fury relic.

Oh yeah I forgot about oak log buffing catching. Glad it'll be max stacked soon then with my new resamples. But catching can sit on the back burner. I also don't have half of my guys even 80% of max book level. So I know the next resampling will be overall big gains once again

early sailing you'll be going back to early islands often enough to level up your sailing speed so you're not stuck. I wouldn't try to ancient any artifacts really, but focus on getting materials/gold for speed/loot upgrades. Speed is obviously king for island/artifacts which are probably your bigger breakpoints. But at some time (like where I'm at) loot is king since I need a ton of mats to upgrade speed on anything so I need my chests to have bigger resource drops.

IDK min/max sailing strat, but I was going back to farm earlier islands if a majority of my boats' speed to the newest island was >4hr.

I think first 4-5 islands are pretty easy, getting ancient Tusk will be beneficial beyond that, kind of repeats with higher tiers
