You'll need ~30-100m damage for ES/DK > others > BB/Vman, boss takes ~10 minutes for most people on the low end of their classes damage bracket.
Work on alch/stamps, cards and cardsets, equinox, po box, star signs, dungeon flurbos, respec talents if necessary

might be too late, but way i did it was empty a characters inventory, took out 1 worm slice, then put that into the bank as a second stack.
Auto sort, and make sure the stack of 1 is on the left hand side (this is where any deposits will go, to the first stack in the bank)
Now use split stacks, take out 10m at a time, then press ' deposit all button' and it'll add everything in your inventory to the first stack, when you have 100m, take out 1 from the stack, and you'll have exactly 100m.
If you can't hold 10m, can do it 5m at a time, or 2m, its much faster to click the bigger stack, type a number, press ok, then press 'deposit' to add it to your first stack.
Once you have 100m, sometimes you might have to move the stack around in your bank for it to proc.

They've also both got options to leveling your boats for speed/loot breakpoints. This one from IT will show you the next level cost at the bottom and the total cost to the next breakpoint if you hover over the i

Sounds like a plan, for pop obols, they'll drop as bronze and at 1% DR. Your goal is to reroll them to 2% and then combine it with a 1% bronze so that it upgrades to a 4% silver. You'll eventually want enough for your family set and at least 1 personal set

Make sure when you're rerolling to put the upgraded one in the left slot, as that one is protected from being deleted if you critically fail the upgrade

I think the actual mechanic in that game is that the skulls move to a random spot of the surrounding 5 with the right and left sides considered to be adjacent. I always perform way better when I try to press far away from the skulls than when I don't pay attention at all. I'm not certain this is correct though

your chances for ancients are much lower than standard. if you happen to unlock one while getting materials to upgrade boats, that's good rng

there are a few that are worth sticking around for to ancient, such as Faux Tusk, Fury Relic, but typically you probably won't need to hard target them early one

You'll want to unlock up to island 9, at least, for Fury's +25 skill levels

IMPORTANT: have atom cost reduction when you're starting to produce atoms

1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor
