IMPORTANT: have atom cost reduction when you're starting to produce atoms

1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

single gold sprinkler can be nice to unlock it instantly, additional sprouts will always be a benefit (faster gaming leveling and more bits for upgrades), a couple of chest sluggos is also nice for the additional chests / loot / artifact chance, but they fall off as you unlock more through the artifacts

it's a boost, but ultimately you'll get that with time, no matter what you get you're going to be spending a slog with your characters on the altar till you unlock gods / stances, one or two of them might be worth it for cuttting down that time, but once you get the unlocks you need most of that wont benefit you

Ye, only real way to check is by comparing both builds directly using the afk gains window. Even then, it won't take into account side benefits. Like how you can usually complete some zows and chows while pushing with BB, or forge progress you get from SB.

Each class has better material efficiency for their color's bubbles in Alchemy. Warrior to orange bubbles, archers to green, mages to purple. Nothing is more efficient for yellow.

So switching to a warrior before upgrading orange bubbles makes them cost less.
