I got hardstuck at w5 boss for like 2-3 weeks, one of the things I did was push all 8 toons to chizoar to get keys and merit then ran all ~200-ish with full DR cards. middling luck should get you a scarf and a damage obol or two

Just start progressing in general, so long as your survivability is 100% vs crystals you may as well start farming the XP and portal/DN kills now.
DK or SB probably your best bets at pushing though if your damage is kind of struggling. ES I think may stall on high portal counts too much?

ES active is pretty bad at unlocking portals. All enemes you kill from your Wormhole DO NOT COUNT toward portals, and actively eat up your character's time. Their Respawn is also tied to the portal being up, so like.. You can't just take it off your bar
