Yes, level is priority there's not much reason to do it the other way around. You just need to make sure to understand how long it will take to get lvl 150 even in w6. It depends on how much damage your maestro has and all that stuff.
Plan around that time to prepare.

You'll likely need to build up your account over time and stack up damage bonuses.
Gradually working through Rift and Equinox and improving your samples and stamps and alchemy will all make massive jumps in your damage and other stats over time.

In the meantime, being in W5 helps you get progress in the W5 skills (and sailing especially offers huge power spikes when you get artifacts) even if you're not killing much yet.

You've got a couple options. You can potentially cheese it if you have the correct items in your inventory, or you can try to max your chances legitimately.

Ideally, you want max orb duration, obviously. Make sure the talent is maxed.

Next max your statue skill, your chance to shoot shockwaves on basic attack, and your megaboomerang

If possible get the max Vman talent that lets your statues last much longer.

Make sure your DK has at least ~350% move speed, or whatever the max screen speed is.

Give your DK an attack speed chip in lab, if possible

I am away from my normal computer where I have a very large file that can make nugget predictions, but I can give you the most basic math if you're curious.

Every time you dig up a nugget you can imagine the game randomly choosing a number from 1 to 100,000. Each of these numbers is equally likely.

That number is then put into the following equation:

Min_nugget x 1 / ((ROLL / 100,000)^0.64)

Where min_nugget is the % bonus listed on your shovel.

What this means is that your nugget can roll anywhere between 1x and ~1585x your minimum nugget value (excluding equinox bonus), but the odds are immensely weighted towards the lower end of the rolls.

Like 99+% of cooking progress for most midgame/lategame players comes from using ladles, so you can just park the kitchens on anything useful in the off-time. Turkeys is fine, or let it creep towards a meal that you know you want to level next to get a small head-start (like cabbage)

PC handles money gains correctly as far as I'm aware. The money's real and really appears in your bag as spendable currency.

Mobile sometimes fumbles and gives you much lower-value coins than you deserve. Those coins are also real and deposit into your bag as small-amounts.

Fair, also remember to do the W4 miniboss and colo from time to time with your DK while he has max DR you can muster and a stacked orb score. It gives a surprising amount of ladles and eggs.

I think this would be fine if a player was expected to fight bosses very rarely.

But with cards and wings and obols being so rare, it's sort of expected to run a fight 100+ times if you want everything. >1000s in some cases.

With that amount of repetition, I prefer simplicity.

As a compromise it'd be great to have difficult boss fights in which you can lock in a high-score or something and then in the future just spend keys to get rewards based on your kill-high-score

Without actually redoing the fight, that is.
