1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

eh... i consider cooking necessary due to this star talent Ducky said it is pretty strong of a multiplier and money becomes a big thing later on but it is more important on your bubo/DK/BB than your Vman imo but you could probably spend like 50-60ish balloons to get him to lvl 20 at least which will give you a couple talent points
