That's why I enjoy indie games the most. They usually have a fair ratio of bonuses for money. I hate everything with rng because even after paying an ungodly amount of money, I could still end up with nothing. And sure, there's usually a pity bar but I still need to spend hundreds, if not thousands of bucks just to ultimately get the one thing I want. I could buy it, but I don't support doot-like behavior. Purposely taking most characters away from the players, just to offer a solution an entire world later, after taking even more characters away through another similar mechanic, has nothing to do with a passionate developer anymore that I'd simply support because I enjoy the content. That's as cold-hearted as it gets and at that point, I might as well play games with huge corporations behind them because they behave exactly like that.
