like to throw back to like OG diablo 2, they had open battle net and closed battle net. Open was local saves so thus it did have alot of people who used editors to make gear that was so strong if you so much as hovered over it your game would crash as theres so much information in the item. closed had temporarily stored server side characters which obviously were not local and it was an entirely different world of playing because everyone was legit

I'm not sure what the map after Tremor's is, but my first 6 characters have it marked as 0 portal requirement, while the last 4 have it marked as 100 🤔 I started that alt around the time Companions released, was that before Kruk was added? Probably Kruk's lair if so.

There's another fun vman one we ran into the other day, too:

when unlocking vman, completing the DN missions unlocks the chizoar one. If the vman doesn't have chizoar unlocked yet, it sets all maps on the path to him to 1k portal kills remaining to speed up the process.

However, it also does this for every character before the Vman, but not the ones after the vman.
