In order for your characters to get their fair share of shared exp, you start by first claiming the afk time of a mantra character. The game, upon claiming afk mantra time, will then calculate what should be sent to the rest of your characters. However, that shared exp also does not show up on the remaining characters afk claim screen, but it does get added to your divinity exp bar none the less!
The easiest way to make sure mantra is working for you is to claim all afk time on all mantra characters, and watch your exp bars on the rest of your characters go up.

(Shared exp from the bubos lab talent also works the same way! Gotta claim your bubo first to let the game know how much exp should be shared)

Been trying to push my bubo to 1b oak samples for the equinox

Decided to do a quick resample with my wizard as well

........ the wizard is somewhy sampling 50m more than the bubo I've been trying to minmax

He doesn't even have half of the chopping talents maxed

Your ES gets a second God Link, which absolutely crushes the Bubos sample

bubo when sampling you probably use snake (+30% afk) but ES with sampling you'll use snake and bear, which is +talent levels

the bonus from bear is probably pushing your sample up

How does that work with doot though?

with doot it wouldn't care, yeah. If your ES is worse than your bubo but got a higher sample, you did something wrong with your bubo

Only thing I can think of is that I had one keychain different

sampling can be simplified down to 3 things

Your eff
your afk%
your sample%

So the likely offenders are:

Sample talent/prayer
Forgetting to equip afk gear
Various things that impact eff

Essentially the difference was that the ES got 1.5% skill speed from a keychain

Insane if that makes such a big difference

Unfortunately it's not something we can eyeball for you because there's so many things that impact samples, you'll need to get them side by side and see where you're lacking. Screenshots your afk%, eff and sample% and figure it out

one of them will be signioficantly lower than you're expecting

Whatever you need. If you need the lab link still do bear, better prints do hare, omni for progress in the skills it helps, portsl/death note kills nobisect. You gotta decide what you want that character to use/do

Yes but to make the most out of purrmep you still need a link to it, use your highest div character
