Just haveing the level 0 got me an extra 10-20 waves on some of the others too. You might have to use more scuff setups to get the void effect off reliably, but the damage boost to all towers at level 5 more then makes up for it usually.

If you are pushing World 5, any class with respawn mechanics (excluding BM) should do the job. However, ES, DK or SB are most preferable for pushing. AFK pushing is way slower compared to active pushing (unless your characters cannot utilize their respawn mechanics due to low damage). With that being said, I'd say DK or SB (if you manage to one shot plunder mobs) as DK will respawn all mobs that get affected by Killer Brightside and Nobisect (Unsure about SB but ES wormhole kills only count as 1 kill so if your ES prioritizes them mostly, he will be slower than DK and SB)

DK is ok but slowest damage, ES is also ok but hardest in early w5

What the others said! Before starting the void run, fight nightmare troll. The timing is tricky though. I can one hit kill nightmare troll, and you have to kill him after triggering the void run skill. so I use the coin: throw one in the air above troll, trigger the void run skill, then troll dies just before you teleport to gmush.

There's also another trick for getting more void portals unlocked, but it's a bit gimmicky and I don't know if it would count as an exploit. I'll just say that it's the same technique used for killing the coconuts and sand castles under the time limit in that w2 quest, early on.

If it is considered an exploit, mods let me know and I'll remove the previous comment. If it's ok though, happy to share more!
